Federal Holsterworks Holster with Mag Pouch for S&W SD9VE and SD40VE, SW9VE & SW40VE

I couldn’t be happier with the Federal Holsterworks Holster for my S&W SD9VE. The fit is perfect—it holds the firearm securely without being too tight, and drawing the weapon is smooth and easy. The added mag pouch is a huge bonus, making it convenient to carry an extra magazine with me. The materials feel durable, and the holster is comfortable to wear for extended periods. Fits my SD40 VE perfectly. It is somewhat universal so it should fit the M&P and others of that size. The metal belt clip and the straps are all movable and reversible making it ambidextrous and adaptable to various pistols. The metal belt clip fits inside a sewn strap and the hold down straps are good strong Velcro. The mag pouch holds my double stack magazine perfectly. The description does not state it, but it can be used inside the pants too. The only difference between this and the regular inside the pants holster is the added mag pouch. You don't have to carry a second Mag but it is nice to know you can. You may have to do a little trial and error with the strap to get it to fit properly so it holds your fire arm securely. It is no speed holster but it is not bad, the thumb break for the strap works ok because it is made of nylon strap and not reinforced like the higher end holsters are. For the price this is a great holster, 5 stars and I will buy more from this company

Great value for the price! I have not had the chance to thouroughly field test this holster besides a few times shooting in the woods. The belt clip holds very solid to a 1.5 in. leather belt. The nilon and stitching looks solid and holds solid. The adjustable velcro snap is pretty versatile. I bought this for my S&W-SD9VE and it fits snug, which is what I prefer. The mag pouch is nothing special, but it does give you immediate double capacity, if needed. I am not an every day carry guy, but I am happy with this holster-for now. And, it's made in the USA!

My Smith & Wesson sd9 ve 9mm fits perfectly in the holster and the holster feels good quality not cheap you're able to carry an extra mag in its side pocket and straps in pretty tight and good my gun doesn't wiggle stays in place as same with the magazine pocket mags not loose perfect tight fit pretty good holster you can either carry on your left side or right side

Does exactly what it's supposed to do. Dimensions are accurate and snugly holster my pistol. velcro straps are adjustable to place the hammer strap button release where you prefer and the clip is extremely heavy duty and securely fastens to your belt. Not concealable or particularly attractive, but well-made and the price is right for a holster suitable for hiking in bear country.

I took 2 stars away because the edge on the bottom of the belt clip was sharp and scraped my hand deeply enough to draw blood when pulling my wallet out of my pocket. A quick filing resolved this. Otherwise, it works well. Since it is ambidexterous, it can be worn on either side, or used as an inside the waistband holster. I use it as an IWB right hand, but it will go left or right in or out. As with all holsters, USE A HEAVY BELT. Currently I am using this for a Smith & Wesson M&P 9 full size (17+1). The double stack spare magazine fits well in the pouch.

What can I say about this holster.... Well its awesome. I ordered this and it fits both my Glock 19 Gen 4 and my Smith and Wesson SD9VE. Fits them both perfectly. The clip holder on the front is such a nice addition. Fits and holds my extra clip very snug. There is no wiggle in this holster with either gun. If you tighten the straps to your liking it holds the gun very firm. Has not left any marking on my guns. It has nice thick padding and when used via the belt loop, it is firm on your hip. I would buy again for sure. I ordered my girlfriend the exact same kind but smaller for her Taurus G2 Pt111. For general use like wearing it outside, four wheeling, yard work, or to just have your gun on your hip as your on the move, you really cant beat this holster. The price is great, this holster is a steal for sure.
