Let me start out by saying that this is a very solid/compelling product in this price range. The Liberty 4 NC's do a lot of things well for it's price point. The Noise Cancelling for it's time was among the best(better than the Earfun Air Pro 4 in my experience) in class, the sound quality is decent out of the box(they offer EQ via the app if you want to tune it), battery life is superb(I can use it for hours in a single session), and the build quality is decent. I believe for it's price segment (varies throughout, but I'll pick the price point of say $60-70), it's a very strong contender and you can't go wrong with this product for the right price. However, I do have 2 qualms.. one of them is specific to me though so your mileage may vary: First, the fitting.. the shape of the earpiece does not fit my ear too well, I do not have large ears per-se, but I use the largest ear tips in order to get a better seal. Not only do I have issues with getting a proper seal in my ear canal, but they also don't seat well in my ear, as they tend to fall out more easily. I don't seem to have this issue with some other earbuds(like the Earfun Air Pro 4), but I do have this issue with the Liberty 4 NC's. I will say that it's not necessarily a deal breaker though, just an annoyance, something to watch out for as it depends on your ears. Second qualm is the mic performance is just mediocre, though it is adequate for it's price class. I don't use transparency mode very often, but they seem to work ok. I'm glad that these have a transparency mode at least. --- I also wanted to note, as I alluded to earlier, that I have both the Soundcore Liberty 4 NC and the Earfun Air Pro 4's. In my opinion, other than the fitting issue(these don't seat well in my ear, and the eartips struggle a bit to get a good seal.. perhaps due to the angle of the shape of the earbuds), the Liberty 4 NC's are a notch better as a product compared to the EAP4's, especially when it comes to Noise Cancelling. I have tested both of these in a noisy cafe, and the Liberty 4 NC's noise cancelling is noticeably superior to the Earfun Air Pro 4's. So depending on your priorities, I'd still say overall, I prefer the Liberty 4 NC's.

Let me tell you, these earbuds have transformed my experience! All the issues I had with previous earbuds have been resolved. They’re incredibly comfortable, so I don’t have to keep readjusting them. They stay securely in place, whether I’m walking, turning my head, or even doing jumping jacks—no worries about them falling out. The sound quality is outstanding. Like other Soundcore products, these earbuds sync with the Soundcore app, where you can customize your EQ settings. If you're into personalizing your audio, you can even take a hearing test in the app. The AI creates a tailored listening experience based on your preferences. I tried it, and my music has never sounded better—crystal-clear highs, deep lows, and punchy bass. In class, I appreciate being able to wear just one earbud and still hear the lecture. If I want to immerse myself completely, I can pop in both and use the transparency mode to stay aware of my surroundings. At home, they’re perfect for blocking out distractions while I work on assignments, thanks to the active noise canceling feature. While I still prefer headphones for certain situations, these earbuds have become a staple for me. Was looking for earbuds for awhile after I lost my Beats Studio Buds that I got back in 2022. I remember my grievance with those buds just being the microphone being atrociously bad but overall they were awesome. So I got these after I got the Soundcore Anker Q20 headset a couple months ago. I liked Anker enough to experiment to look at their earbuds. I love listening to loud music but I also love to play around with the settings and have transparent and noise canceling features. Needless to say, I've had these earbuds for a week now and they're absolutely phenomenal! Great sound, although at first I was a little disappointed because it was super basey and not what I wanted, but with the app they pair with it, you can change it to sound EXACTLY how you want it. Maybe not for mega enthusiasts (even thought i consider myself an enthusiast but I digress) but I think the versatility with the sound is super grand. Too muddy sounding? Change it in the equalizer. Too much treble? Lower it in the equalizer. Too loud? Well you can just lower the volume lmao. The comfort is great, even with someone like me who has big ears they manage to fit in my ears pretty good. Although I will say that in my training sessions, which are very hard and intense excercise/running bouts, they did fall out if i was really going hard or bouncing alot. But again, take this with an asterisk, because I do have humongous ears, AND my point is null since the buds DO come with extra eartips that can affect how they sit in your ear so keep that in mind. I also have to say that these are earbuds are INSANELY comfortable to wear. Im actually a person that hates headphones and stuff being in my ear because it literally puts me on the edge of hyperventilating since I feel "trapped". But these have always felt amazing to wear, especially with transparent mode. Which I'll get back to later. I will also say that I love the fact that the buds have stems like airpods that make them more easier to handle. It's also cool that if you were to lose them, them being kinda on the bigger side (at least compared to beats studio buds) makes them easier to find. I will say durability seems pretty good. I mean they are earbuds so you shouldn't have too much of a problem with them, but I HAVE dropped them twice, and I did notice minor scuffs on them after i did that. Mind you im pretty sure they landed on concrete too. So durability might not be the best? But again, we're talking about scuffs, minor ones at that. Battery life is...well...absolutely insane. At least for me. Since it gets about 4.5 or 5 hours with ANC on and it can charge fast AND the case has 40 hours of battery life, means that battery life should NEVER be a problem. In fact with me I haven't killed these buds at ALL even with ANC on. In truth, I haven't worn these longer than 3 hours, and only because I eventually do have to put the earbuds away during my training sessions so I can focus. But even then, I never had these buds go lower than 60% battery. Bluetooth is absolutely amazing. They connect fast and I have them connected to both my laptop and phone. And they both connect fast and work amazing. Going back to ANC and transparent mode, I think these buds really live up to their namesake, they LITERALLY block up to 80%-90% of sound around you! It's INSANE! I knew it was bad when I literally had a leaf blower next to my ear, LOUD ASF BTW, and I literally could not hear more than 5% of it. All I heard when I was using it was Otonke from DanDaDan lmao. So yeah ANC is excellent! Beautiful even! Transparent mode is awesome too, although I didn't hear too much of a difference, I still felt like the outside world was still pretty muted while I had it on but maybe more testing is required. But to me, transparent mode is whatever to me because I'll just take one earbud out or just take them both off. Even then like I said before, it is pretty comfortable to wear while it's on. Finally, the color. God the color. My favorite color is blue and I REALLY don't know what's going on with the color choices of laptops, headphones, earbuds, phones but they all SUCK nowadays. Literally little to no color options and it honestly sucks. What happened to the blues, greens, reds, yellows, oranges? Now it's all glossy boring stuff like black, white or, and this is gonna be a doosey...GLOSSY BLUE EHEHEHEHEHEHE. But no, color choices really suck nowadays, but these come in a very awesome blue color that I am in love with. I just wish these developers had more color options like this because it's actually one of the main reasons why I got these instead of the Liberty 4 Pros. On that note I was actually torn between these and the Pros. I ended up getting these because of the amazing price but also the color choice (because of course). But also I didn't hear there being too much of a difference with the ANC in comparison of the two, and they actually had a VERY SLIGHTLY worse battery. People are giving those praise but honestly? With the price, the color, the versatile sound options, and ANC, and the amazing look and feel? I couldn't ask for anything better. Only thing holding it back is the whatever transparent mode, and the questionable (?) durability. 9.5/10.

I've gone through several pairs of cheap and mid-price ear buds (< $100). Three I like are the earfun pro 3, 1more comfobuds pro, and now the Anker Liberty 4NC. Overall the Ankers win hands down. I think they have the best sound and by far the best wind resistance. After you load up their app and connect to the buds it gives you a hearing test to give a base level of response, then gives a bunch of A-B comparisons to a piece of music asking which one you prefer as it tweaks the response curve. I think the end result is great, but I'm no audiophile and am 65, so take that for what it is worth. The other two are good, too (I rate the 1more buds above the earfun's, but I like them all). I got the 1mores first, and if I were only going by sound quality I'd have stopped there (glad I didn't, but I didn't know that at the time!). I usually listen to them when I ride my bike on a local rails-to-trails path. The downfall of the 1mores is that there is a lot of wind noise that comes through. Noise cancelling overall is good, but not for wind. So I saw the earfuns on sale, so tried them. Much better wind noise reduction, but still more than I'd like. Finally I saw these and bought a pair on their launch. As I mentioned above the sound is great, and the wind noise reduction is very, very good. I hear a little from time to time, but most of the time I feel the wind on my face but can only hear it if I am really looking for it. They have a lot of modes you can set it too, but the one that works the best for me against wind is manual mode, maximum (level 5) noise cancelling with wind reduction on. They remember their settings no problem after you take them out of their case. The earfuns seemed to turn off sometimes (go back to non-cancelling mode). The worst thing about that in the earfun case is that in order to connect to the buds with their app you MUST have an internet connection. This was a problem on my last flight as you might imagine. The 1mores were great on the flight -- and no issues about connecting to the app in flight. It was a transatlantic flight and they ran out of juice so I switched to the earfuns for a while so they could get enough charge back into them. With the 1mores the engine noise and other extraneous airplane sounds were almost gone and I enjoyed my music. I have not flown with the Anker's yet. Hopefully they will do as well as the 1more's there (but I'll have the 1more's along just in case!). Supposedly the battery lasts longer in the Anker's, but only ride for about 3 hours at a time so I have not tested that. One final GREAT thing about the Ankers vs the others I've tried is that you can disable the on-bud controls. I always have my phone on my bike, so if I need to change modes I can do so. Since I found settings I like I don't need to anyway.... In the app you can select what every combination of taps does individually. And every combination has a do nothing setting. You'll still get a beep if you trigger the setting while inserting or wiggling the bud around, but it has no effect. Just what I want. If I want to skip a song my phone is right there, usually with the app up that is playing said songs. Sometimes I start hearing wind, and that just means the buds have slipped a bit. A quick twist or wiggle and the wind is gone. They've never fallen out, but I'm riding a recumbent so I'm just sitting in a lawn chair while I pedal. I use these only for listening to music. My wife called me when I was out while using the earfuns and she said I sounded fine. I have not used these so far to talk on the phone while I ride so I cannot speak to that.

I actually contacted support because I genuinely thought something was wrong. I did their troubleshooting and that didn’t work. A day later I checked the app for the battery level again and it FINALLY went down 1 bar (there are 5 bars on the battery icon so I can only assume that one bar is worth about 20% of battery. I had one in either ear for 8hrs a day for 3 days. These are quite loud, and I like loud music but they can truly get too loud. Can’t complain really I do enjoy it, this means I only run them at 40-60% volume at any time. I am truly impressed by the battery life, performance and features of the earbuds and case. The ANC is very good. When music is playing I literally cannot hear people speak. All I see is lips moving ! The case wirelessly charges, but you won’t need to do that often evidently ! If you have a wireless charging pad for AirPods that will work for these as well. The app is easy to use and pretty quick to connect to the buds, not AirPods level of speed but pretty good for a 3rd party connection. The app can be used to fully customize multiple different EQs, set different controls on the buds (there are 4 per each bud, single, double, triple and hold press). Sound quality definitely beats apple and Samsungs flagships earbuds. When I listened to these and discovered all the features, I started questioning why I ever spent $250 on AirPods. Despite all these good features I feel there are some things Anker could improve. A fatal flaw pretty much all TWS earbuds have is the charging case. Yes it charges fast via Type c or wirelessly. But it opens super easy. Which means if it gets dropped your earbuds all pretty much certain to go flying out. I don’t judge too hard for this because pretty much every company that make TWS earbuds do this. The case also feels a bit cheap. It’s very lightweight and the hinge has some light movement too it when closed like the fit isn’t quite perfect. It also collects dust on the inside (closed part of the case where the buds are) when closed. You cannot control volume with the touch controls on the buds, and there is no Hey siri. I wish there was a way to customize the transparency frequency response. I cook for a living and I was wearing one bud with transparency on. I put some oil in the pan (making a crackling sound) well the buds didn’t process that as such. It turned into a very high pitched, loud, staticky sound that was actually quite unbearable. I hurried to turn off transparency after that. Most things it processes ok, but others is sound very weird or digitized. Pros: -Great, slam or deafening ANC -Easy to use, quick connecting app -fully customizable multiple EQs - case charges wirelessly and type c -battery life lasts a super long time -buds recharge super fast in the case -Excellent soundcore sound quality that destroys the competition - Value you can’t beat that won’t break your wallet Cons: -case is a bit flimsy (hinge is a tad loose) -case collects dust on inside when closed -case easily opens to lose buds for potential drops - No swipe control on earbuds -the touch pad on the buds is sort of small, I have to re-tap sometimes. -no volume control or hey siri on buds

I've had these earbuds for around 5 months now and I think I can give them a pretty solid review. The earbuds have a great battery life, I only need to charge the case around once per week max and that's with hours of daily wear. I've even fallen asleep with them in (more often than not) and when I wake up, they still have a good amount of battery left. Now for those of us who are unfortunate enough to have small ears, these may not be for us. My ears are small, not crazy small but small enough for most earbuds to be too large and cause uncomfortable pressure. These earbuds stay in either really well or I'm having to adjust them constantly. I'm not sure why this is the case but it is. However, the number of times I've fallen asleep in them, I don't typically wake up with them missing. I do feel that these are a bit heavy because they really FEEL like they're there. My ears get fatigued from them after a few hours. In terms of the bluetooth and multipoint connectivity, this is where they lose some stars. At first, they were great and I was thrilled to finally have a pair of earbuds with multipoint, however this was short lived. Sometimes they connect flawlessly, other time not at all. They will take several times to connect to just my phone, or if they do connect to my phone without issue, they have problems connecting to my computer. If you own any bluetooth products by Bose, you'll know that their multipoint connection works pretty seamlessly (in my experience) and your phone audio isn't automatically prioritized over your computer. The same cannot be said for these earbuds. If I have a video actively playing on my computer, and I happen to open an app on my phone, they'll automatically start playing whatever is on my phone. Additionally, I've had issues with the sound cutting out on my computer when I send a text from my phone without any sound on. In general, the multipoint works as it should around 60% of the time. There's also the occasional issue where they will take several tries to connect to my phone which can be very aggravating. My final thoughts are as follows: these are really good for the price! The sound quality is great, they're pretty noise cancelling, and the app makes them customizable. Their shortcomings are not in the functionality as earbuds but in what they're advertising as multipoint connection. If you're like me and have small ears, these may not be the most comfortable for you. But if you only really want them to listen to things on your phone or computer (one at a time) and you have normal sized ears, I think you'd really like these!

At this price point there is nothing better. These have it all bass, battery, and user experience. A friend lent me some air pods once and I was shocked by how much more I liked these. These are more comfortable than air pods, look better, and most importantly, sound better. These sound nearly identical to the Soundcore Space One Headphones which I also like. I think that for most people this is best pair of Bluetooth Ear Buds available.

UPDATE: these are not worth the headache. I had my first pair for 9 months. Then the right earbud failed. Wouldn't charge and wouldn't sync. None of the trouble-shooting tips worked because nothing in the app works unless both earbuds are connected, so you can't update firmware or anything else. Soundcore Customer Service is a pain. It's all AI-run and gives incorrect information. Under warranty, I was told they would send a "brand new" replacement to me but I had to send in my defective pair to them first. When I got the replacement, it was clearly refurbished. When I asked them about this, the response was essentially, "Oops our AI lied to you." The refurbished item worked but had a static hum that the original earbuds did not, so I contacted support again, and they agreed to send out a new pair as was originally promised. So after several weeks of annoying back and forth, I finally got a new replacement. I've only owned them for 4 months this time, and ONCE AGAIN the right earbud has failed on me. This is clearly a design flaw. I'm done with Soundcore after this experience. ******************** Original review: I owned these for 9 months. For the price, I thought they were great--at first. Sound quality was good. Call quality was good. Noise canceling was good but not great. Fit was good, but they would slide out over time and need re-seated in my ears, especially if i was working out or sweating. Then 9 months into owning them, the right earbud just stopped working. I tried all the recommended troubleshooting methods. Basically, the right earbud was no longer recognized by the case, so there was nothing I could do to fix it (resets, firmware updates, etc. all require both buds be in the case, and since it stopped recognizing the right bud, it basically bricked the entire product.). I reached out to customer service, providing all the info. They promised to send a replacement product, but said it would need to be a different color because the color I had was out of stock. This should have been my first hint since Amazon and Soundcore Direct both showed all colors in stock. I specifically asked if the replacement was a refurbished item, and they guaranteed that it was a "brand new item." I said okay and told them to proceed with sending the replacement. Two days later, they told me they could not proceed with sending the replacement until I sent in my defective earbuds and they were received and processed by their facility in Canada. They estimated that would take 5-9 days from the time I mailed them before they could even mail the replacements. This seemed like an unnecessary delay to me, considering they had not mentioned that requirement in the beginning AND I knew I could get brand new earbuds from Amazon with same day shipping. However, I was obviously not going to pay full price again for a product that only lasted 9 months (half of the 18 month warranty period). I complied and put the earbuds in the mail, but also told them it seemed like an unnecessary delay. They then told me they would expedite the process and send the replacement out immediately (3 days after they originally told me they were sending them), so I told told them I appreciated it. I got the replacements several days later and was extremely disappointed to discover they were clearly refurbished. They had a cosmetic flaw, but more importantly, when i went to pair them, they had all of the previous owners devices still listed in connection history AND they were named "Paul's Liberty 4 NC" (spoiler alert: my name is not Paul). I reached back out with my disappointment and ample evidence they were refurbished earbuds, and the response was that their policy was to handle warranty claims with refurbished products for any items more than 3 months past purchase date. REMEMBER! I specifically asked if the replacements were refurbished and they promised they were brand new. I contacted them again regarding this blatant lie and they apologize that their customer service AI gave me wrong information..... This was a ridiculous process and i wasted more than a week going back and forth with their faulty AI customer service, only to end up dissatisfied with the outcome and distrustful of buying any Anker or Soundcore products in the future.

I decided to buy these True Wireless earbuds as a replacement to my Airpods Pro that I accidentally left my in my home country before flying back to North America. I absolutely love ANKER products, but coming from an Airpods Pro, I didn't expect much from this product when I first bought it. so my review here will mostly be related to quality of life usage and not so much on the audio aspect Battery Life: Absolutely fantastic, over 4-5 hours of straight use before you get that beeping low battery that indicates you only have 15-20 minutes left. Then you would only have to recharge them in a case for 15-20 minutes before you can use them again for another 1-2 hours. so the claim they're making on this product is very legit Charging case: I've never fully drained the battery of the charging case as I consistently charge them every night but it doesn't take that long to fully charge the case either. maybe 1-2 hours max? Case durability: i've dropped these bad boys a couple times before on multiple hard surfaces over the last 7 months and they seem to be holding up really well with no scratches or permanent damage Case size: coming from an airpods pro, these look significantly bulkier (1.5 times bigger) but rest assured they are still very pocketable. Touch control: the touch control on this thing is easy to use, very easy to get used to and very reliable even when you have wet hands. the tap and/or hold function on these earbuds can be tweaked on the app settings. Eartips/Earbuds: the one thing i dont like about this product is the provided eartips adhesiveness to the earbuds. for reference, i use the smallest eartip in the box. they are standard eartips but they do get easily detached from the earbuds and sometimes they stick in your ears when you try to remove your earbuds. please keep in mind that i come from airpods pro where the eartips suction to the earbuds are very top notch when installed and is almost impossible to be accidentally detached from the earbud. Noise canceling: let's just say that if an Airpods Pro cancel out 99% of the noise from a very chatty and loud environment (like a gym during peak hours), then this product cancels out maybe 94-95%. it works really well to block out most of the noise in a loud environment, but you can still hear minor inaudible noise in the background whereas the sony WF1000XM5 or Airpods Pro completely shuts out the noise. Ambient sound: this works pretty well most of the time for a $129 headphones for you to activate to speak to someone without taking off your earbuds. Media/Audio pause when removing earbuds: this earbud has the same feature as most high end earbuds where if you remove one earbuds while watching or listening to something, it will automatically pause the media currently being playing before hit play again on the other earbuds. however, they are not as efficient as high end Sony or Apple NC earbuds. what I mean by this is that an Airpods Pro would immediately detect that you've removed one earbud and would automatically pause the media, where as the Anker Liberty 4 NC would have a 3-4 second latency delay before it notices that you've removed one earbud.still an amazing feature for the price tag. waterproof: I tried once or twice to shower with these on just to see if they would hold up and they did really well with no issue whatsoever. but i don't recommend not to shower with these on all the time. your disgusting ears also needs to be cleaned on a daily basis Audio Quality: I am just a regular peasant who enjoys listening to audiobook and music while working out, I am not going to pretend here to tell you the mids are good, the low and highs are good when i dont even know what that all really means in the first place. all i know is that the bass is decent and i've never had to complain about song i've listened to not being punchy enough because of these earbuds. you will never have that problem as long as you're not audiophile (most of us aren't) Sound Core app: i dont know how to use an equalizer but the presets they have is good enough for me to tune up my earbuds based on what i'm currently listening to Overall: giving this product an absolute 5 stars for the Price/Value for money. definitely get it if you're looking a for an affordable noise canceling earbuds. if anything, ANKER also has 18 months of warranty

Edit. Spotted a blue pair for $125 AUD. You would be insane not to grab these for that price. The appearance may seem retro in the ears not in the ears. Literally the most comfortable buds I have used in years. I believe these are a nearly perfect blend of performance, price, NC, beautiful connection with BT, sound, bass, details - all of it. A criticism might be made about appearing plastic, and they are so light, you don’t notice them in the ear, though there is a subtle either ceramic or very high quality in the bud that needs to deal with the driver. It does beautifully. This js a bit gushing, but after this it was like “I have discovered the Anker buds are actually excellent!” It surprised me a bit. Anker have been making speakers and buds for a while, I just had no idea they were this good. I like the P40i that I got after. Though it comes to choosing between the two I would pick the premium improvements that accumulate for a better experience. A good price at $AU 150.
