How much to say than it’s durable and well-made

Easy to Install fits perfectly

I waited for a week for the PRV D280Ti-S compression driver to arrive, I paired it with a DS18 waveguide and my existing driver on my 20 plus years old JM Lab speakers. Once assembled, I tested the sound via a cheap BT Transmitter and an ordinary Onkyo integrated Amp, and the sound was honey to my ears. This pair of PRV D280Ti-S drivers delivered beyond my expectations. It's my 1st time using a compression driver as my tweeter, I was afraid that it would sound too bright and that my ears will grow tired easily listening to it. On the contrary, it sound spacious and easy to my ears. I spent already 5 hrs listening continuously to it as I'm writing this review. It's easy to listen to, instruments are clear and the soundstage could be better, that could be due to my amp and the cheap Bluetooth transmitter though. I'll will get those changed and I'm pretty sure I'll love the sound from this speaker even more. Overall it's a highly recommended for this Pair of PRV drivers. 5 Stars from me. As for the DS18 waveguide, I think it did it's job really well, dispersing the high frequency from the Compressor driver to create the soundstage. Now as I listen to Diana Krall "How deep is the Ocean" I can hear her right in front of my singing and the cymbals tapping away on my left. I chose this waveguide to go with my driver, because I needed it to be short so that it can fit into my speaker box and so that the diaphragm of the tweeter is in line with the diaphragm of my driver, this way the sound wave from my main driver and the tweeter will be in phase. Overall, I'm very happy with the purchase.
