How does it straighten boards?

the "U" between the hammer and nail pull it what allows you to straighten boards, or even bend and break them.....I used this tool to demolish part of my fence that broke down between myself and my neighbor

Is there any difference between this item and the one Sam's Club sells for $20.00?

no..same tool if you can still find it at Sams club
