Garden Ornaments Outdoor Art Decoration Tree Hanging Unique Statue Sculpture Patio

Had to buy this when I saw it to go on the gate at the side of my house, I love it and it looks cute peeping over the gate, brilliant detail and quality, it’s not been up through most of our British weather, strong wind, rain and warm weather that we have had just this week! He’s still looking like new and is as sturdy as when he was attached to the gate which is pretty easy to do! I shall add some pictures over the next few weeks when he’s been out a bit longer to see that he’s still as good as he is now and has survived the weather!

Love this item, I was thinking of putting it on my fence but it might scare my neighbour. 🤣🤣 However, the hanging clasp came unattached as I picked it up to put it out. Bit of super glue worked wonders.

On the small side but my adult daughter loved it ,she fell in love with ET when she was little and appreciated this gift.

Good value for the money, looks good as well

I have a garden shed with a hole in the top of the door and I’ve used one of these ‘E.T.’s’ to cover the hole. I’ve bought three of them now over the last couple of years or so and every one of them has arrived with the hanging clasp on the rear of the head stuck on with a blob of glue. These little things are being knocked out by various sellers and are described as being made of ‘resin’. This gives the impression that they are flexible to some degree – not so. In fact they’re very brittle and due to the lack of attention to the clasp, eventually gravity will take its toll, the clasp will come away from the main body and they will plop down to earth. Not so much of a worry if they land on grass, carpet etc but a real problem if they land on a hard surface, as they will shatter. (I’ve found that the hand will remain attached, mainly as it’s a lot lighter than the head). I’m daft enough to want to try a fourth but anticipate having to put some kind of a support frame around the head to stop the same thing from happening again. Could be avoided if the manufacturer secured the hanging clasp in a more robust way, but as they probably cost peanuts to make and they’re being sold for £10 -15 if you include the postage costs, there’s fat chance of that.

It looks fantastic

Loved this but it had only been on the fence 24 hrs and unfortunately when I looked out of the window it was on the floor. Went out to hang it back up and it was in many pieces. The hook is still on the fence and the hand is still attached to the fence, so I don’t know how this happened but I am very disappointed.

As soon as I saw this, I had to buy it for my front wall. He gets plenty of smiles from passers by. Good quality and size. He really is fun and cute. Perfect for what I needed to brighten up my wall, functions well as an ornament to make people happy!

Also, the hanging mechanism, while functional, feels a bit basic, so I made sure it was securely fastened. Still, for its charm, uniqueness, and the sheer joy it brings, it's a fantastic outdoor decoration.

I love it and so did all my grand children. They were curious who ET. Was . So my 5 year old grandson wants to be ET for Halloween now. He really enjoyed the movie and appreciated the statue. I ended up buying paint to make ET eyes much bigger, because they are big, not beefy.
