Expensive but worth it
I've bought a few white noise machines. This is the most expensive one and by far the best. The sound is far more natural and rich than other models I have which play a recording of noise through a speaker. I'd really recommend investing in this over other models even though it doesn't have the same range of sounds. It goes louder than I need it to which is comforting.

Solves persistent noise issues
Although this is at the higher end price wise it is an excellent investment. It has solved a long term distressing noise situation. With several volumes settings it can be used subtly for white noise to aid sleep or at a high setting for persistent noise pollution. I would highly recommend. NOTE: it has a US plug so you will need an adapter for use in the UK or Europe.
