This is amazing for my two cats who never like the same thing they never eat the whole wet food meal and it's astonishing to me that they love this so much they eat every bit of it.So what I do is, I'm trying to get my cats to have enough wet food to stay hydrated just as a precaution.They are packaged into small containers and I just open one. I split it into two little bowls and I break it up with a spoon. I put a little bit of water in the empty container and pour that in just so they get every little bit of it and they Finish every bit of it and it's their morning meal.One thing I noticed the first couple of days I couldn't peel off the foil top and then if I did, I was spilling the little bit of liquid that's in there on my shirt so now I figured out my hands have to be dry, but the aluminum seal is really good, but it's also keeping it so fresh so that when I peel off the top, I make sure I just hold it level and I have no problem.Peeling off the tops now is very easy, nowthat I know what I'm dealing with and I do have grandma hands which have arthritis so if I can do this, it's really not very hard for anyone.One more thing I do: I sent out two little bowls the night before one spoon and one little container so that in the morning it's ready to go so I make it easy on myself and it's better for the cats because they know they're actually going to get Fed and I won't keep putting it off.I like how it looks it looks high-quality. It looks really tender and moist and juicy for the cats and there's some kind of "stock" like a little bit of gel inside every container and I just make sure I give them equal parts and spread all of it equally because they love every bit of it. I really recommend this cat food and it's one that I'm going to continue to buy for my cats regularly, this is their new morning meal and they love it.Here's another thing: I've given them a couple of times where I give it to themfor lunch as well and they're like yeah we're not really that hungry for that.They still like it but they don't finish it for the midday meal,so I only give it to him once a day, they don't need it twice a day The rest of the day I give them kibble in a night,I give them kibble and treats.

Long-time customer of this Fancy Feast Gems with Chicken and Halo o Savory Gravy. Our cat loves this cat food over and above surely a dozen we've tried with her. This is the one that she eats eagerly. The texture is smooth, and the gel halo is her special favorite. If there is anything we would ask of Fancy Feast, it would be to have the containers easier to open. As they are, the foil topping is difficult to pry open. An easier way would be incredible.

The serving size is just right. He likes it. All pet food however, is way overpriced. The big pet food makers are gouging.

My senior kitty (18 yo this June!!) has decided that he’s officially done eating all the super healthy food I’ve been feeding him over the past decades & wants decadence and junk food in his old age… who am I to argue?! Well for one— I’m his Person! 2nd, I buy the food, thirdly, I’ll be paying the vet bills & mourning the loss if he dies due to a suddenly unhealthy diet. So we’ve decided to compromise!! If he refuses to eat the food I put out, he can have his Fancy Feast… but only certain types. And I believe THIS label is a good one! Not only does it appear to be rich in Taurine which is good for my kitty, but it’s a super creamy mousse that he’s absolutely BONKERS over!! The gelatinous topping covering the mousse is the bonus tho! Once it’s squeezed out into a perfect cube (not easy at first, but I got the hang of it eventually), I mix just a bit of warm water in the cup, to get the remaining gravy from the container & pour it over the top of the gelatin. Then, using a spoon, I cut off each of the 4 sides of the cube & mix the liquid with the mousse to create a gel topped island surrounded by a moat of gravy… and Omgggg— you’d think I’d invented the Churu!! My kitty goes nuts!! He laps up the gravy from the around the outside then digs into the main center course— the pinnacle, that towering gelatin covered mousse cube! Ten mins later & he’s in the window waiting to be groomed w the worst breath ever & the best smile you can imagine! Happy cat- happy life.Highly recommend this food for picky eaters or those who’ve simply lost their taste for their usual mealtimes.

The cats just licked the gravy from the top weren’t to interested in the pate it was mushy and difficult for them to eat I had to keep scraping it back into a pile as it just flatten out on the dish.
