So far so good.. I’ll update post
So far so good the seeds atleast look healthy! First of all I just want to say how important it is to research any seed before planting. Unpon my research I learned it’s good to soak the iris seeds for 24-48 hours, then plant them. So that’s what I’m doing. I have never used seeds only rhizomes but I figured I’d give it a try. I’ll update my post once I plant them and they sprout. I also counted 41 seeds so I got extra! I am not planting all my seeds right now I saved a lot incase I mess up the planting. UPDATE: not one seed sprouted yet. Although I haven’t given up.. it’s been roughly a month and a half since I planted the seeds. I have heard that it can take weeks, months or even years. So I guess time will tell if these seeds truly sprout and if the colors are accurate. I’ll update again if sprouts pop up!

Not Empressed
Came in little envelope of seeds, not bulbs. No instructions. The tiny sticker label is too pale to even read. Cheap. Nothing has grown in r wks. Not even sure how long it's suppose to take since there were no instructions. I ordered a lot of different packs of seeds & bulbs from various sellers, so I had to sort through them all to see which order was left over to find out what the seeds were because there isn't even a photo on the envelop. Not happy. Another Amazon seller ripoff.

Know what you are buying. These are seeds not rhizomes.
These iris seeds were exactly what I expected. I studied up on iris seeds before I bought them and I watched numerous YouTube videos on how to propagate them. I’ll probably stratify them for a month in my refrigerator (not freezer) for one month before planting them in a vermiculite seed starting mixture. I’m excited. I’ll be starting them along with the rose bush seeds I also bought which from the past I’ve had an 80+% success rate.

Sprouted fairly easily
Ok, so i was a bit skeptical, but so far, they're growing really well! I had about a %50 germination rate, the seedlings seem strong. It was fairly easy to sprout them, I just put them in a cardboard egg carton in some coconut coir fibre, (i bet peat moss would work too) i put them in a zip lock bag and placed them on a sunny windowsill. It did take about 3 months, but now here they are! Once they get big enough we'll see what the blooms look like, but they did sprout!

Not easy to grow
I may just be doing it wrong, but I didn't get them to seed.

Misrepresented Product!
You need to be patient and wait two years for your first bloom. You need to germinate and stratify young plants before they go into the ground. If done properly, these plants are very hearty. After that these plants are a total ripoff, every single one is the same BORING blue-violet colors.
