I have bought 2 ocarinas, this exact one, one for my sister, and one for myself. Both showed up in great condition, and they sound amazing. Highest note requires more breath, but all the notes are crisp and accurately tuned. The booklet is useful when starting out, and has all the notes including the flats/sharps. Definitely going to be a fun instrument to master this year! Great job!

The stand doesn't work but other than that it’s a beautiful ocarina and the book is really easy to read and understand. Even came with a little carrying case. Really good value for what your paying, 10/10 will suggest just maybe pay the few bucks extra for the better stand if you want to display as is

Great product first of all, beautiful and sounds nice. Though it was smaller than I thought, and it would be a lot easier to play if it were a little larger. But this is also subjective since everyone has different sized hands and mine are a little large for this. If they had an option for a larger version that would be nicer for someone like me. I've never played an instrument outside of the recorder in K-12, so the learning curve is more difficult for me to learn to play it. That is the only reason why I gave it 4 stars since the item shows pictures of finger placement on the holes, but does not recognize the musical notes by letter. This is both good and bad, good if you know how to read music and are a beginner looking to just play the songs that the book has, but bad if you eventually want to learn other songs on the instrument. Having said that, it is pretty easy to learn the songs in the book, but it takes a little practice with it. This is a great gift for any Zelda fan, even if they never play it, it makes a great display piece as it is very appeasing to the eye. The stand however, could be better as since both are the same material, there is some fraction and it can be tricky to get the item to sit up properly, so I would advice to have it rest on a wide surface with a towel beneath. It will take a little shake to have the Ocarina slip, and if it falls off someplace high, it can break.

It's really cool and what I was looking for. Very nice quality and packaged really well. The book was not in the package and since it was gift I didn't have time to return and reorder so that was a little disappointing. However after leaving my initial review and stating the book was missing; the company reached out and offered a satisfactory resolution.

Beautiful ocarina. Beautiful tone. My Zelda player loves it and is picking up how to play it fast. The neck paint was not as bold as the advertisement pictures. The hand stand is difficult to use.

The ocarina looks and sounds beautiful! But the stand is absolutely worthless. I even paid more to get the nicer stand. But it still falls over if its not leaning against something. As fragile as the ocarina is, you'd think more thought would be put into its display stand!

I bought this at least twice on different occasions as a gift. It's really good to appeal to Zelda fans as well as musically inclined recipients. I'm not a fan of the material, as it's a glass of somekind, making me wary of how fragile it can be. Still, a good instrument to legitimately learn.

It is very similar to learning how to play a recorder as a kid. The booklet makes it easy to understand where to place your fingers for each note. It would be much more difficult without that. Because of its similarity to recorders I would say it is pretty close to being a beginners item. The only issue is when playing high notes it is hard to get it to sound right because you have to blow harder. But the low notes are super easy to sound good, they make a beautiful sound.

Love it. Guide is easy to understand. Stand is nice and it comes with a case and string so you can wear it around your neck. Its thick and heavy, made with some type of pot. The holder is a myth though. There is now way of balancing the ocarina on the hand it comes with. A shame but still amazed
