Unique and sweet. They are soft and tasty.
These are pretty good. Be prepared that they are sticky, and syrupy, but if you like that, you will find that these will fit your tastes. They taste like sweet pine and have a great soft mouth texture. They should be added to the list of fruits. They are bite sized pieces of piney goodness.

Totally worth the experience!
This was my favorite gift to give this last Christmas. My father has tried EVERYTHING, but had never heard of these. Everyone in my family had a try and everyone loved the experience. They look like tiny pinecones (because they are), so everyone was scared to try it. But they are soft when you bite them kind of like a Turkish delight or fruit chew. They taste a lot like pine, but not overwhelming because they also have a very fruity taste too. Itโs like a perfect palate cleanser after a meal. But we just each had one as a treat. My dad ate three right away. Iโm not saying itโs mild. It is an intense taste. But not as overwhelming as I expected, thanks to the fruitiness. So fun. I want everyone I know to try them.

Unusual But Good
These are not for everyone. You need a little sense of adventure to try them. If you take the plunge, youโll enjoy them. They have a soft, toothsome texture and a generally sweet flavor profile. The aftertaste is: pine. Yep theyโre pine cones. Iโm glad I tried them. If you enjoy pushing your limits then give these a shot.

Not for me.
It's exactly as described. I've never tried them before this and to be honest I hate the taste. They are really sweet and the texture is amazing. But at some point during chewing they release a flavor that I cannot personally consider good. But I do think that other people might enjoy them and I'm glad I tried them.

You either love it or hate it...no in between
This food item was a hit and miss with the individuals who tasted it. Those who liked it said it was very sweet and very soft. They described them as being very tasty, though you have to eat a few before you appreciate them. Those who did not like them said it was like eating a pine tree dipped in sugar, only the sugar did not sweeten the item. They described it as dry and woody tasting.

Tastes like you might expect, but better and uniquely fun!
These are a unique conversation starter, but I can't convince everyone to try them. :0) I love the taste, texture, and flavor. If I had to describe the experience to someone who hasn't tasted them, I would say, "It tastes a bit like what you would think eating a pine tree would taste like!" I will certainly be ordering again, as these candied young pine cones are truly different and fun.

Try these!
This was a fun food to try. They are sweet and soft. Kind of like eating the center of a fig newton. They smell like raisins. They're small. It was 50/50 with people loving vs hating them. They're definitely worth a try.
