eufy Security S220 SoloCam Solar Security Camera Outdoor Wireless (2-pack)

I honestly can’t recommend Eufy enough. It’s the perfect DIY home security system. My setup currently includes a HomeBase 3 with upgraded storage, three cameras, a video doorbell, the security tablet, keypad, and door sensors. Everything integrates perfectly and every device is packed with useful features. The app is simple to use and the picture quality is easily the best I’ve seen from a home security system. Every device has felt worth the price. I actually bought this exact camera in November 2025 and it ended up getting stolen over New Year (completely my fault — I had temporarily turned my security system off while doing some work and I had installed the camera a bit too low). Three months later it randomly reconnected to my HomeBase, which helped me locate it. When I got it back the casing was pretty beat up and it clearly had a rough time, but amazingly it still works perfectly. The camera works, motion detection works, and even the solar panel is still charging it. That experience alone shows how well these cameras are built. After being stolen, outside for months and knocked around, it still performs like new. If you’re looking for a reliable DIY security system, Eufy is absolutely worth it.

This 2-pack of eufy SoloCam S220 cameras has been a really solid upgrade for home security. Footage storage and core features are included without extra monthly fees. The build quality feels weather-resistant and sturdy, and they’ve handled rain and cold without any issues so far. Overall, this is a reliable, well-designed wireless security setup that’s easy to live with and does exactly what it promises. Fantastic camera, great video and audio capture, adjustable detection sensitivity nothing bypasses this camera. Self adjusts to the available light conditions to record clear, detailed video. With built in solar panel to keep the battery charged (provided it's placed in adequate sunlight) and simple, effortless mounting this camera ticks all the boxes.

Excellent camera quality, easy to set up and install, charge within 5 hours which is great. The downside is the solar during winter time does not really charge it up so deduction in battery life for me is roughly 15% a day and maybe a 2% at best solar charge. Mines been up for 3 weeks and its ready to be taken down for its 3rd charge. So have them accessible with a ladder to take them down. My area is high traffic so my battery will deplete more than areas that may be quiet. They look great and it gives me a peace of mind after a friends van was stollen from outside my house. My internet provider is Plusnet and no issues with connecting.

Very pleased with it. Very clear view. Solar on top without wired to it. Need wired to charge it in the winter if it gets low. Charger included. It recorded every movement and will roll over when it gets maximum. Can watch playback videos. Worth buying.

Since I left the review below Eufy have reached out to help solve my problems with this camera , I have been so impressed with the time and care Eufy have spent on resolving my problems that I have now added to this review. Thanks to the help from Eufy my camera is now working as it should the quality of this camera was never in doubt the fix is is about the positioning,the height ,the angle ,the settings and trial and error, I really enjoyed getting this right , so I would recommend this camera and Eufy as a company I was surprised that they had read my review and acted on 5 stars all round. Had this for 2wks now ,good points easy to set up and install ,battery life seems to be very good and picture is excellent. It is very good quality and seem very robust, but it misses more events than it gets. I have tried everything in the settings on the app every tips on the internet but it seems this is a common flaw , I’ve had it a different heights ,moved it to different positions,different angles, straight on , to the side ,tilted up tilted down but make no difference ie it can pick up a small sparrow flying past but not a car driving past , does not pick a person until halfway down my driveway regardless of how I set it up, I had a cheat tapo camera which picked up every event so I’m a wee bit disappointed,nevertheless it is a good camera and a deterrent and maybe a future update will fix the flaws so I’m keeping this camera

This is the second Eufy S220 that we have purchased. These do a good job if you're looking for cheap and simple surveillance. It does take a while to set the motion and video settings to a good adjustment so you don't get repetitive notifications of people walking past or tree branches moving. Super easy to install onto wall. It comes with all the screws and wall plugs. They haven't blown of yet. App is super easy to use. Due to British weather, the solar panel has not picked up much charge so unable to comment on the longevity or function on that. However the battery does seem to be holding up well. Obviously a wired set up would be ideal. On the odd few occasions, it sometimes doesn't record the events of someone or there can be a delay in notification. There is also NO 24/7 recording. You can however record and cut footage manually when using the app and viewing footage in real time. Not a huge deal breaker but something to bear in mind. For the price and value, I recommend the cameras. If you've got a bigger budget and and are looking for more features and functionality then I would obviously look at other cameras and set ups instead. For the average Joe, it's a worthwhile purchase.

Veramente sorprendente! Buona qualità delle immagini e ottima sensibilità nel rilevamento del movimento. È autonoma dal punto di vista energetico, non troppo ingombrante e ha una buona connessione Wi-Fi. L’app è un po’ macchinosa nella gestione delle informazioni, ma offre tutto quello che serve. Nel complesso sono molto soddisfatto dell’acquisto.
