This is a great sturdy battery box. With a few accessories this makes a great portable power station.

Bought his for my trailer - it fits the battery holder, has 6 port choices to run the cables trough, and you can put padlocks on the lid. Plastic battery boxes suck!

I bought this for an off-grid solar setup I'm testing at my house. This holds a RV battery perfectly and makes me feel far less anxious about exposed metal (especially with pets in the house). As you can see from the photo, this perfectly holds my RV battery and keeps the dangerous bits from exposure.My only complaint on this item is the price. At its current price of $75, you can find cheaper metal battery box options. Also, the small metal feet on the device are pretty flimsy and one broke off in shipping. If the price drops or you really want this design, I say go for it. Otherwise, you should shop around and see if you can find other options.

I ordered this battery box to house an additional battery for my van-camping setup. It's nicely made and durable. I like that it comes with rubber feet that can be bolted to the base (hardware included), or that the base could be attached to receiving bolts, or bolted directly to the substrate for a more stable connection. I also like that there are rubber grommets for all the cable exit holes and that there are exit holes on all sides, allowing for various setups. The side handles are spring-loaded and plenty sturdy. The top can be attached via the latches or screwed on (screws included) for a more secure set-up. The box also came with adhesive, rubber, anti-skid discs in addition to the rubber feet, which I assume is for using inside the box to prevent excess slippage of the battery - though no instructions for these are provided.

I just installed a large wrought iron 2-panel gate, powered by solar panels. I got this metal box to house the 2 x batteries and the electric solar controller. From this, I ran the wires up to another metal junction box that houses the electronics.This box provides various portals (the plastic round inserts) so you can install your wires where you want – just slit the cross in the middle, only as much as you need to run the wires. I put a dab of silicone sealant over those spots to prevent weather and spiders from getting inside.I did not use the feet provided, because I wanted to mount the box on the metal post structure I made to support the panels/junction box, so now it’s up off the ground about 16-inches. This will keep it out of the snow.This was just what I needed.

This battery box is well-made and fairly rugged. The latches work well and the box was easy to attach to a custom trailer we're building. We love that it's waterproof and fireproof (though I hope we won't need it!) It's nicely sized and feels durable. Very happy with it!

Solid battery box for mounting to a trailer, camper, rv, etc. This is the perfect size for a deep cycle marine battery and it also has rubber feedthru grommets for feeding hookup wires/cables. It comes will all the necessary hardware and has mounting feed to bolt to a solid surface. It's also has a solid coating that protects it from the elements.

Major upgrade over the plastic boxes. This is secure with plenty of options for routing wires. They also provide a very clean and premium upgraded look.
