We started using Evereden After Swim & Sports Kids Shampoo after noticing that regular shampoo wasn’t fully getting the “pool smell” and heaviness out of my kids’ hair. This one has a gentle lather but gives a much deeper clean, and their hair and scalp feel truly fresh afterward—no lingering chlorine scent, sweat, or product build‑up. I like that it uses green kaolin cleansing clay plus plant‑based ingredients rather than harsh sulfates, so it doesn’t leave their hair stripped or squeaky. Their hair actually feels softer and lighter after washing, and it’s easier to comb through with less frizz once it’s dry. The scent is kid‑friendly but not overpowering, and it has worked well on both straight and wavy hair types in our house. I also appreciate that it’s clean, vegan, and dermatologist‑tested for kids’ more sensitive scalps. The bottle is on the pricier side compared to basic kids’ shampoo, but since we mainly use it on heavy swim or sports days, it lasts a while and feels worth it for the extra detox and gentler ingredients. Overall, it’s become our go‑to after pool and practice nights.

The smell of these shampoos are amazing! We just used this recently after my kids were in the pool and it worked great at getting the chlorine out.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: The fragrance of this shampoo is my absolute favorite part. it also happens to be a good shampoo but if I wasn’t so obsessed with the scent, I’m not sure I’d pay for it. Scent: Love love love! I wish I could figure out what this scent is (and believe me, I have tried). I realize scents are subjective, but for what it’s worth, I love it. Hair cleanness: Does a great job getting my daughter’s fine hair clean. Value for money: Mixed on this…it is pricy, but a little goes a long way, but my daughter’s hair is very fine, so we can get away with using a dime sized amount and we only wash her hair a couple of times a week so one bottle lasts us a while.

First of all, the packaging is great— feels soft so right away I already feel like I’ve invested in a good product. The smell is divine, and my kids hair did a 180 just after the first use. It’s like his last shampoo was creating a layer on his scalp, and his just took that right off! Hair is soo soft after use! Also, the smell is just so good that I had to try it in my own and wow, my hair is WAY softer than even the $50 sets I’ve tried from Sephora. I looked for adult stuff but I’ll use kid shampoo no problem if this is what it does! Lol. You gotta try it. 10/10

Small bottle but works and smells amazing

Works well enough and smells nice, but super expensive for what it is.

I like this because it's effective at removing chlorine from hair. It has better ingredients than most shampoos on the market. It smells really good too.
