The "box" works very well. It's small, and when I first got it, I played with it like a toy. Going from counter to counter to see if they were level, put it up against the wall, and tried the laser, and the wall across the room, and then that counter next to the sink. It's small and easy to carry, plus it comes with a carrying case, which is small. It is very accurate when compared to other levels. Nice tool and more compact than a large level.

What a fun tool to use. My first digital angle finder, and I love it. Yes, it has limitations because it is only a few inches long; however, it makes up for it for being so easily portable. The lasers are a bonus, as are the strong magnetic sides. Perfect for hanging shelves, photos, adjusting table saw blades, and so many other things. Easy to use. Hard to explain, but I love using it.

This is an economy item which does a fairly good job. The digital inclinometer seems to be accurate. Unfortunately, if the laser is important to you, it does a poor job. Instead of a distinct thin line, most of the energy is focused at one end. The brightest part blurs to about 1/8 of an inch thickness at 10 feet, which I consider unacceptable. The rest of the laser line is a thin distinct line which is usable, but very dim.

The device is everything I needed for my table saw a for installing shelves in my workshop. On my old one I always misset the laser wich is a good ad on in the new device.

This is a great unit. Very functional for several tasks. Battery life is great. Have used for several consecutive days with out issue.
