OnePlus Pad 11.61" LCD Display, 8GB RAM,128GB Storage, MediaTek Dimensity 9000, Android 13.1, 144HZ Refresh Rate, Dolby Vision Atmos, Wi-Fi with Cellular Data Sharing Tablet

As a long time user of Apple ipads from original 9.7 (several) to 12.9 inch versions, I was searching for a tablet in between. I considered the newer iPad 11 series, but took a chance on an Android OS and unknown brand, to me, that offered the correct ratios and size to easy read financial/investments documents and PDFs. While the 7.5 ratio display may not be the best dimensions for games, it is unquestionably superior to reading technical documents and ebooks/articles that are in horizontal scrolling or page flipping. My 12.9 iPad certainly has a beautiful large display that one can easily read and edit on; however, it's size, weight and balance is not the best for extensive handholding reading. I actually bought the cheaper, light weight and largest Amazon Fire tablet just for reading Kindle and other digital library books, but now the oneplus11 tablet can do both quite well- without resorting to my high power reading glasses for some technical pdfs. Also the latest Android OS works well with syncing my Laptop's Windows Office/Outlook email to the OnePlus 11 tablet. I have only had it a few days, and I love it's response, speed, display (nice video resolution with ideal ratio/size), better Android OS and reasonable price. So, yes the iPad now has worthy competition. UPDATE: After a couple of weeks of use, I am still impressed and have semi retired my iPad 12.9. Even more, my Amazon Fire tablet and other older iPad 9.7 have not even been booted up. I will still use my larger iPad for ZOOM and working on programs/app only available on IOS. There are extensive documents in my Good Reader app/format - for example -not available in Android. Perhaps some could point out that the latest iPads have slightly better displays and camera plus a much cleaner back panel with more acceptable colors selections, but weighing cost and performance this tablet is superb. UPDATE: 8/15/2025. As I asserted earlier this is a remarkable tablet, and I have extensively used it everyday. Now the battery is being to weaken, and I would like to replace it. Great product but really poor service and support. I have a excellent repair facility located in Huntington Beach, CA; however, OnePlus will not sell battery. Attempting to even get a way to send in my tablet to their repair facility in Texas is faculty and so complex plus at least 15 days. So, GREAT PRODUCT BUT POOR SUPPORT & SERVICE.

I did a lot of searching around to figure out what the best tablet was for my use case in this price bracket of sub $400 tablets. My main use case is content, such as Crunchyroll, HiDive for anime, YouTube and Netflix all of which this tablet is great for. The aspect ratio is a little weird but it isn't an issue for me at all. The quad speakers sound great for content, they more than met my expectations from experience with budget tablet speakers. They are pretty solid speakers. The screen is great, make sure to at least test the "vivid color" option (HDR) it makes the colors and contrast pop a lot more. This is my first experience with a OnePlus device and OxygenOS and I have so far enjoyed it. It's been about a week and I haven't encountered any hiccups or issues with it myself. So far for the money it's been an amazing tablet. I spent a good bit of time comparing the Dimensity 9000 to other chips like the SnapDragon 8 gen 1 and others, for best performance of the chipset because I did want it to handle some mobile gaming. I don't play Genshin Impact but I do play Honkai: Star Rail and it handles it great. Sub $400 this was the best new option I could find for performance and the whole package really. Supervooc charging (67w) is amazing for the tablet. From like 25% to 100% in about an hour or so. I use the limited charging so it stops charging at 80% to extend the life of the battery. If you're looking for a great all around tablet with a great screen, solid speakers, battery life and performance this is a great deal for this price range. You basically need to spend another $100 to beat it's specs if you want to buy new. The only Con for me is the lack of expandable storage. I don't think it warrants a 4/5 star for that alone since it's not a big deal for me personally, but it is something to be aware of.

Love this tablet. The usage is wide. From YouTube on the big screen for toddlers, to gaming with great graphics. And it's great for office use too. Connecting it to your messages from Google. Acts like a hub. Speakers are awesome. Love this tablet

TLDR: You don't get everything in the pictures, but still a decent deal. Tip: there is no SD card slot. Please bear in mind my use-case as you read this review. For me, the OnePlus Pad will be a travel device for use at airports, on planes, and in hotels. On planes, I generally can't or don't connect to WiFi. I carry an eInk Kindle for reading and a quality digital audio player/BT receiver and headphones for music, so those uses don't concern me in a tablet. I don't care at all about its camera. I may install a few board games that would be nice to play on the larger screen, but not many. Mostly, I'll be using it in three ways: reading graphic literature like comics, watching movies and TV shows, and browsing the web. After a few basic apps (like my password manager) and Plex, which can connect to my home media server and other services, including live TV and YouTube, most storage is going to content. You may wish to evaluate this tablet on other criteria. After investigating the Google Pixel tablet and Samsung S9 and coming to my senses over an apparent Prime Day steal that would have left me with the same problems I had with the Lenovo m11, I came across the OnePlus Pad at $329, a price point between basic and mid-range. Let's get the bad out of the way first: I was close to returning it because marketing material provided on Amazon implies that A) storage is expandable up to 1TB (there is no SD card slot, so it is not), and B) that the tablet comes with the keyboard cover (it does not). This really needs to be clarified by the seller. That said, I'm an experienced Amazon shopper and suspected this might prove to be the case when I added it to my cart, so I feel more unlucky than harmed. There's also no headphone jack, which stinks unless you've got a decent Bluetooth amplifier for your wired earphones. Still, this is a pretty good tablet for $329. It's not the latest and most powerful thing you're going to find, but it does what I want it to very well indeed. I dig the green finish on the metal body, which feels premium: heavy in that good way. Anybody would prefer an AMOLED screen, but this LCD is nice enough and has nice, thin bezels. The high screen refresh rate is very welcome, and I much prefer the 7:5 aspect ratio. It's fantastic for reading comics, graphic novels, or manga. You do also lose quite a bit of size when viewing a movie in full letterbox, so I find it's better to put your view mode into zoom and lose the very edges of the screen. The aspect ratio works a bit better with sub-1080p sources, better even than 16:9. I was coming from a slightly thinner Lenovo Tab m11, which also felt premium but cost $130 like a year ago. It was very good for playing widescreen media downloaded or transferred via SD/USB, but the processor chugged and locked up just trying to look through a large folder of pictures sequentially. I occasionally had to reboot it twice to restore function. The Dimensity 9000 processor on the OnePlus is much, much better -- about equivalent to a Snapdragon 7 G2 or a Tensor G2 or G3 in multi-core performance (processors that can emulate Gamecube games!) -- plus it doubles the Lenovo's 4GB and adds another 4GB of virtual RAM (12GB total). I transferred most of my graphic material and a selection of videos, filling 100 of its 128GB memory. I've seen no stuttering or slow-to-open folders thus far. I think I can just about live with 128GB of onboard storage for my use case, and I'll probably trim back 20GB of video to give the storage and file index some breathing space. I wish the OnePlus Pad had an SD slot, but if it did, I'd probably only fill it with a bunch of stuff I'm unlikely to watch. After all, I theoretically have access to my entire collection via Plex, as long as I have good wi-fi. If I recall correctly, the 256GB version was about $60 more expensive. That seems to represent a reasonable investment, until you consider that you're competing with the Lenovo IdeaPad Pro, and not far from a Samsung S9. OnePlus's OxygenOS is...fine. I expect I'll ignore that whole ecosystem, other than the new gesture controls and such.

As a musician, I value a tablet that can display digital music clearly in portrait orientation, and close to the original size. The gold standard for this is the 12.9" iPad Pro, but the cost is ridiculous, and for those of us who hate Apple, there were just no other options. I tried lots of alternatives, getting by with a 10" Fire HD. The problem with most Android tablets is they're 16:9, which is just too tall for sheet music - it ends up having white space above and below, which wastes screen real estate. Ah, but this OnePlus Pad, it has an interesting 7:5 ratio, which turns out is perfect for octavo-sized music, filling the screen nicely. And the clarity is awesome! Brightness, wow! This is exactly what I've been looking for. I had a OnePlus 7T phone (my daughter is still using it), so I'm familiar with the company. They're hardware and build quality it always top notch! I was a little concerned though, as their software can be a bit buggy and slow with updates. However, after using the Pad for a few days, it runs flawlessly, and I love the interface! To wrap up, if you're looking for a large screen android tablet that's perfect for music reading in portrait mode, look no further - you've found it!

An excellent tablet. I have had several OnePlus phones and their tablet matches in quality. Easy to setup and use, clear and vivid screen, fast charging.

I bought this for a 2023 Christmas gift for a twelve year-old girl. After almost five months of use, her assessment is: the tablet is a really good tablet because it's screen is really big and you can see small details, you can edit photos really well and it has lots of storage on it for games and stuff like that. My favorite part about it is how with the charger that it comes with, it charges super fast and the battery icon turns blue. My other favorite thing is that I don't have a screen protector on my tablet, just a case, and I have dropped it so many times, but there still is not even a tiny crack or scratch on the screen. There isn't anything bad I have to say about the tablet. I really like it and recommend it.

I use this in place of a laptop often due to it being lighter and also easier and of course faster booting. It good and comparable to other tablets such as APPLE and Android products so for a cheaper price especially at a deal if possible a great buy! Good battery, good touch/response, and overall happy I get a charger with it!!
