I wanted an alternative camping bed for festival camping, as I’m too old to keep rolling on and off an inflatable air bed now! I researched lots of alternatives and chose this bed thanks to the other good reviews. Having now used it twice, here’s my full and honest review. It’s obviously much bulkier to store and transport than a blow-up bed, and comes in two bags (the bed frame and the mattress) so bear that in mind if you need to pack a small car. However, the advantage is that this bed is so much quicker to put up and take down - it just pulls open and clicks into place (make sure you push it down with all your strength until it clicks). Unroll the mattress and use the elasticated straps to put it on top, and you’re good to go! It fits well into our tent’s sleeping compartment and is actually pretty comfortable, despite the thinness of the mattress topper. I slept on this for 4 nights, only 3 months after a full hip replacement, and slept well, with no back pain. It was much easier to get in and out of than my previous air bed. You could always add a foam topper if you need softer padding. The blue colour is lovely, too. I really liked the little pockets down the sides - we could use one each for phones, chargers, torch, ear plugs etc so they were easily to hand during the night. A very useful touch! So overall, apart from the bulkiness (which really you should expect with any camp bed) I give this bed 5 stars and a high recommendation!

What a great bed. We purchased the bed for a visitor we had staying for a week and he found it really comfortable much better than an airbed. It is so easy to assemble and takes seconds to fold down and put away in its own storage bag. It isn’t heavy and it doesn’t take up too much to store it either. Great value for the price!

Overall, pleased with these beds (bought 2). Great additional beds tried by adults and teens. Positives: * good size bed * great to have separate mattress/topper for comfort * good that separate carry bags for both mattress and beds and bags decent size so you can actually get them back in easily * been handy spare beds for teens friends * previously had inflatable beds but fed up of them puncturing or deflating - no issues like that with these! * seller responsive and helpful * pockets at size really handy to put glasses,tissues,lipbalm, book etc in Negatives: * Wasn't easy to click into place at all. Bought 2 and had same issue with both. Hubby had the same. Put some WD40 on and was better but still no actual click. * still bit squeaky when laying on and moving etc but hoping that'll get less with more use. Not a deal breaker as tried one previously that was worse. Mattress muffles sound * bit pricey but then hoping they'll last a good few years so probably work out better value * bit heavy but am only planning to use at home as additional beds, so won't need to carry far

Comfortable, easy to put up and put down. Light weight. The only thing to consider is if you are camping, it is quite big. Good value for money, sturdy for larger or pregnant people.

Good campbed. Comfortable compared to others I have used over the years I would recommend. Very sturdy also.

Not slept on it yet, but easy to assemble and seems comfortable when lay on it. Only given 3 stars as the matress arrived with a stain on it and no where does it state if its washable or not.

I’ve only tried these for one camping trip that was cut a little short due to bad weather, however I can say without a doubt that these made the camping trip so much better. I’ve always slept on air beds and hated that they’d deflate over time, so this was the right time for me try something new. Now they are heavy, so carrying the to the camping spot was a tough one but I’d rather them be heavy and sturdy. The fold small small and fold out really easily into beds, the bags are handy for carrying. We did actually end up putting additional padding down (spare sleeping bags and duvet) on top of the beds to make them even comfier, but this a personal choice as I do think the included bed isn’t enough. I am also on the heavier and wider side and still found this to be a great night sleep and would definitely recommend. Time will tell how well they last

I bought this as I was fed up of leaky airbeds. I have to say I got the best nights sleep ever camping using this bed. I'm a big guy and it is very sturdy, it is also really comfy and warm. It is quite heavy and bulky but definitely worth the space in the car. Going to buy another one for the Mrs.

Enkel att fälla upp och att fälla ihop. Stabila att sova i och mycket sköna, särskilt om man gillar lite hårdare underlag. Så trevligt istället för luftmadrass. Man tar sin camping till glamping direkt. Katten godkänner den också 🙂
