Ideal for modern kitchens - I use it beside my hob and then pick it up and move it next to my air fryer or multi cooker (I stand it on a small box to make sure it is the correct height above the air fryer). It works perfectly and you can see the steam being pulled in. Quieter than my old, massive, cooker hood and the best part is when finished I just unplug and pop into the cupboard next to the cooker. Very happy with it. It comes with a spare filter grill but I bought a spare full filter kit when I purchased it, haven't needed either yet but like too be prepared. Great little extractor and an excellent price.

Why did you choose this product over others?: Yes, it's expensive, but it does the job well. Reduces that greasy smell and smoke. Not easy to get the angle right but I have it on top of my microwave next to my fryer and it works OK.

It works, even though it only has 2 settings, but it's enough. I would say use the lower setting for gentle cooking while the highest setting for pan-frying etc. I personally don't find it too noisy, it's quite similar to a normal cooker hood noise level. Only bad thing about this, is that even though the outer material is metal (?) but it's quite hard to clean the oil stains. As you have to place this within 10cm of the source, it will more or less get splattered with oil. I used hot soapy water to wipe it, but the stains are still quite visible, using elbow grease works better, but stains are still visible. I think it would be better if they use a more smoother texture metal casing than the current one. It does help reduce cooking smells, the carbon filter does help with the odour. But don't expect it to be zero odour. It's easy to clean the filters and the liquid compartment. Overall I'm quite pleased with this. A good buy.

My device is beautiful and works correctly but it is useless, it only sucks in the smoke and expels it from behind. It's worse than having nothing :-( Now not only does my kitchen smell bad but the whole house smells bad. I don't know if there is a problem with the filters or it's just like that. Don't buy this device.

Rubbish. I had this for a year, to deal with steam from my air fryer where there was no space for a full size fitted extractor. It worked, sort of, in that it made a lot of noise, not much impact on the steam and no impact at all on cooking smells. Then after a year, for no apparent reason, it just stopped working altogether, wouldn’t even switch on. The real insult is I paid three times the current price!! I am now using a small USB fan, originally bought for my computer, and it works noticeably better than the ET looking fan. The good news is the price is likely to keep dropping to the point where maybe you won’t mind buying a short term disposable product.

It sucks steams, grease and smell, but it doesn't do a miracle. It has 2 speeds and it's quite noisy on the higher speed. Easy to clean the detachable parts BUT grease gets accumulated inside the fan and that is impossible to clean because you can't open the machine up to clean the fan inside; and this is the biggest downside. It shows that it won't be as efficient for too long (once the fan gets covered in grease), even if I change the charcoal filter monthly.

A brilliant solution to my double extractor fan dilemma. Use in the kitchen and the bathroom to get rid of problem steam that may cause issues with water and damp damage. Amazing product, can actually see it sucking the steam away.... And as an extra bonus converts to cool air, perfect in a hot kitchen or steamy bathroom.

I should have bought one a long time ago! Fed up with my little kitchen steaming up and everything getting wet just from boiling pans. This thing takes 90% of the steam away. I’m very impressed.

Cooles Teil, hilft besser als gedacht in der Miniküche. Erkennt Topf und startet dann, was eigentlich eine coole Idee ist. Aber wenn man einen leeren Topf hinstellt. Ein Klick und ist wieder aus... Filter sehr leicht wechselbar. Alles gut.

Loud noise

Bastante funcional a máxima potencia.

Es funktioniert bei uns im Camper Vorzelt super. Seit dem habe ich beim kochen nirgendwo Kondenswassers. Das gesamte Wasser sammelt sich hinten im Auffangbehälter. Ich kann es nur jedem empfehlen und es ist auch nicht lauter als eine normale Dunstabzugshaube.

After I went to Korea I was looking for one of these and ordered this. It was cheaper than Home Depot for the same exact product and had more color options. I have used this for hot pot Korean bbq shabu shabu fried rice, it works very well. The smell after cooking disappears about a hour or two after I open windows as before we were not able to do it cuz of the smoke and steam. I didn’t even want to try. Very easy to turn on and plug in. Noise level is loud but you can still talk to the person next to you and across from you. Love the cool down mode as well. Fantastic product.
