The Body Shop Pink Grapefruit Body Butter – Nourishing & Moisturizing Skincare for Normal Skin – Vegan – 6.75 oz

I decided to try this body butter because my skin gets very dry, especially in colder weather. I’ve used lotions before, but I wanted something more nourishing. The texture is thick and creamy, but once you apply it, it melts into the skin and absorbs pretty well. It does take a minute or two, but after that my skin feels soft and moisturized without feeling greasy. I usually apply it after a shower, and it works especially well on dry areas like elbows, knees, and legs. The shea scent is light and natural, not too strong. A little goes a long way, so the jar lasts quite a while. If you have dry skin and need something richer than a regular lotion, this is definitely a good option.

If you're sensitive to heavy perfumes, this one is vibrant and uplifting without being cloying. I've been using it primarily on my arms and legs, and the texture has been fantastic, leaving my skin smooth without a sticky residue once it's fully absorbed. This tub is on the smaller side, but because the butter is so concentrated, a little bit goes a long way. I use it more sparingly than a regular lotion, so I expect the jar to last a decent amount of time. It's truly a nourishing product that makes my daily moisturizing feel like a small self-care ritual. This is a five-star winner for me and a great choice for anyone looking for deep hydration with a fantastic, energizing citrus fragrance.

I’ve been in desperate need of a long lasting, high quality body butter that doesn’t cost upwards of $50 for a small jar. I recently recalled loving TBS’s olive body butter, and wow this is even better than I remembered. It’s silky smooth, thick, smells great AND absorbs great. It leaves me feeling moisturized without feeling slick or sticky. This has become my new go-to after showers and I will absolutely be buying again! Great for body, hands and feet. Especially during dry winters—I’m very thankful to have rediscovered this body butter. Sensitive skin and sensory issues approved. Worth every penny.

This a great product overall! It’s has a long lasting fresh berry sent and leaves your skin feeling baby smooth. I would definitely recommend the larger size as you get a hefty amount of body butter. I have had no skin irritation and will definitely be buying again!

The body butter smells absolutely fantastic and is very moisturizing! My only complaint is that the jar lid is so difficult to get back on. I really wish they would switch back to their old containers.

I use this every night & particularly like the smell of the mango & consistency of the butter. Not all scents are the same consistency.

If you're here from excitement that The Body Shop is still around with the body butters you loved back in the day, please understand that no, it's not. It has nothing in common with those beloved butters in anything other than name. But if you have some perfume oil around, you may be able to salvage this expensive mistake, as I did. By itself, the butter I purchased (olive) has no connection to the original olive body butter from years ago. It smells very chemical. The only reason this didn't go immediately into the trash is because it does create a thick, long-lasting moisture barrier with no oil residue. I don't dislike oils, but I have a keyboard/mouse that pick up the smallest traces and my hands have to stay clear of it while working. I scooped some of this into a small 2 oz jar and stirred in a few sprinkles of my favorite perfume oil until the fragrance was enough to cover the chemical smell, but not overwhelming. So, this makes a decent base for homemade fragrance creams. I'm on my second jar and can probably get another 3 ounces out of it.
