I ordered these 2-lb balls for exercise while juggling. So I needed 3 that are the same size, shape, and weight. To get 3, I ordered a set of 2 and a single one, and they're all identical. I saw that some people had gotten some imperfect ones, but I took the leap knowing that returns are really easy. I chose this company because they advertise "made in the USA" and no "phthalates", or whatever those are. I just wanted to avoid the horrible Chinese factory plastic smell that most exercise gear has. Yep - these are good. I can only smell the plastic if I shove my nose right up on one. They have a grippy, slightly tacky feel, and a sparkly finish - see my pics. I'm keeping them away from furniture with a wood finish, based on some of the other reviews. I've had that problem with other exercise gear that has the same texture, so I'm not too bothered by that.

Perfect for my physical therapy exercises. It is a soft, slightly compressible, weighted, 3.5" diameter ball that is well made and well designed for arm, hand and shoulder fitness and rehabilitation. I use it to do shoulder exercises that are similar to the ones physical therapists recommend. It does not bounce and it is not hard like a medicine ball. But it's easy to hang on to, and easy on surfaces (and toes).

Got these balls to help with wrist therapy after surgery. They’re great for working out to hold when you don’t want a tight grip and also good for multiple exercises. Good quality.

I wanted these to use with my walking weight loss program I have been doing. I dislike hard hand weights so I wanted something soft but that was also easy to carry. These are definitely soft. They are also quite easy to carry. They are made of what feels like a nice thick vinyl and they have what I believe may be sand inside. It feels like sand anyways! They are however quite a bit larger than I was expecting for something that is just 4lbs each. I dont really think I have small hands but I do find these slightly awkward to carry due to their size. I can usually handle my balls but these weighted balls are just too much for my hands. I wish they could reformat them to put something that weighs more but takes up less space to shrink the balls down. Maybe some cold water would help shrink these big balls.

These weight balls are just perfect. I use them daily. Easy to hold , just enough squeeze to hang on to them.

Love these weighted beans and the versatility they make possible in conditioning and toning routines.

This product recommended by a GOLF INSTRUCTOR. An example similar to a drug prescribed for one purpose having a beneficial effect on something completely unrelated. Hitting a golf club against this weighted ball(I used the 6 pound one) yes, gave a great arm workout but for golfers, it reveals right away whether your impact is spot on, or faulty. Take a half swing with any club, or a full swing. If you cannot hit the ball squarely and at most have it move an inch or two straight forward, with a loud thwack, you are not swinging correctly. In short, this is a great golf training aid!

Have been borrowing a friends' weighted Bean balls for a long time. They are really convenient to use for various workout maneuvers in my Pilates class. Very durable; I can put full body weight on the ball with no issues. I like the feel of the cover & the safety of the material. I like them a lot & want my own pair. BUT I've tried 3 times to get them - they get as far as "out for delivery" to my city & then are never are delivered!! Finally called Bean company, outside of Amazon, directly to buy them. Seems there's a disconnect between Amazon & Bean - they have no record of my orders!

I should have read this closer "Bean Products Soft Weighted Balls - 6lbs Grape" I see a picture of three different colour and weighted balls. I thought I was getting all three but I only got one, the 6lb ball. Why have a picture of three different size balls x 2? Confusing. The 6 lbs ball is the less of the three balls I wanted. So I will be returning this.
