A Fascinating Addition to my Garden - The Dunaga Fly Trap
I recently added the Dunaga Fly Trap to my garden and inside the house for fruit flies, and I must say, it has become quite a conversation starter among my friends and neighbors. This captivating carnivorous plant not only adds an element of intrigue to my garden but also serves as an effective and natural pest control solution. In the past, I used it for gardening pest control products. In recent days In Order to get rid of the fruit flies inside the house I have ordered it again. The Dunaga Fly Trap's unique design and captivating colors immediately caught my attention. Its vibrant green foliage, adorned with delicate red veining, creates a striking visual contrast in my garden. The plant itself is compact and sturdy, making it an ideal addition to both indoor and outdoor spaces. What sets the Dunaga Fly Trap apart is its incredible ability to lure and capture insects. Just as its name suggests, this plant attracts flies and other small insects with its sweet-smelling nectar and intricate trap mechanisms. It's a fascinating sight to witness the traps snapping shut as unsuspecting insects are captured within. Caring for the Dunaga Fly Trap is relatively simple. It requires a moist environment, so regular watering is essential. I found that using distilled water or rainwater is best to avoid any mineral buildup that could harm the plant. Additionally, providing ample sunlight, either through a sunny windowsill or an outdoor spot with partial shade, ensures optimal growth and health. One thing to note is that the Dunaga Fly Trap is best suited for climates with high humidity levels. If you live in a drier region, it might require some additional attention, such as misting or placing it on a tray with water to maintain humidity levels. The Dunaga Fly Trap has not only added a touch of natural beauty to my garden but has also significantly reduced the number of flies and other annoying insects buzzing around. It's a win-win situation! I find myself spending more time observing this marvelous plant as it patiently awaits its next unsuspecting prey. In conclusion, if you're a gardening enthusiast or simply looking for an intriguing and effective pest control solution for the garden as well as household purposes, I highly recommend considering the Dunaga Fly Trap. Its unique appearance, captivating abilities, and relatively low maintenance make it a worthwhile addition to any plant collection. Prepare to be amazed as you witness nature's insect-capturing masterpiece in action!

Useless, basically zero suction, no better than just a piece of sticky tape.
This product touts its high power fan, super sticky tape, and variable wavelength lighting (which is total BS by the way, all it does is dim the lights a little bit more every 15 minutes). It turns out that literally none of these things are actually selling points. Let's start with the fan. Powerful is not the word I would use. Noisy? Yes. Annoying? Yes. Efficient? No. Useful? No. Able to do its job? No. For reference, I made the decision to return these when I watched a fruit fly walk across the intake grate of the supposedly powerful fan, without being sucked in or even bothered at all. In fact I watched a few fruit flies and gnats fly around and even almost into the thing, without being sucked in. On the rare occasion that it does suck something in, there's only about a 20 or 30% chance of that bug actually getting stuck. This is partially due to the sticky tape which i will talk about in the next part, but also the fan exhaust stops a little bit above the sticky paper. So quite often, due to the incredibly low power fan, bugs will just fly in to the exhaust chamber without landing on the sticky paper, and fly right out through the exhaust holes in the side. Literally the only way this thing works is if a insect decides to fly down into the machine and land on the sticky paper. Okay brief section about the sticky paper, it's not very sticky, and it doesn't cover most of the bottom. It's more like they bought a bulk set of sticky tape inserts that kind of sort of fit in the bottom but definitely we're not designed for it. I watched a couple of flies actually get themselves off of this sticky tape/paper and fly away. So far the score is flies: 2, flycatcher: 0. And then what's the deal with this variable wavelength light BS? As far as I can tell, all it does is change it to various levels of dimness every 15 minutes, and that doesn't seem to have any effect on attracting any particular type of bug. Although I guess it's hard to tell since none of them stick around to be identified but... I think it's pretty pointless and a useless selling point. Finally, the test against conventional methods. I have a zevo blue light sticky trap. It has no moving parts, no fans, no exhaust great, just a blue light and some sticky gel. I plugged the zivo unit in about 8 ft away from this unit and left them both powered on overnight. The zevo unit had a couple dozen bugs stuck to it either dead or dying, while only one bug was in the electric trap. Not only is this thing not what it advertises itself to be, it is markably worse than literally any other solution on the market. Stay away at all costs. (If you're interested in the zivo traps they're available on Amazon, Target, Walmart, home Depot, pretty much anywhere you want to look)

It Works!
I cannot speak for all bugs this product claims to address. I purchased it for gnats. It definitely works for that problem. I saw a significant change overnight with the gnats. I am sorry, but I am not as open as my fellow consumers. I will not be showing you a picture of the gnats it captured. You can either take my word for it or not. I am broadcasting enough with this review. I appreciate your understanding. That said, Most of them were gone overnight because they were clearly drawn to the device. I placed one in the kitchen and another in one of my nearby bathrooms. The biggest problem was in the kitchen. Within a few days, I did not see any gnats, which I greatly appreciated. Normally, I use apple cider vinegar and dish detergent, which works fine but too slow. I was having a full blown panic attack about the number of gnats, which I discovered had developed from a bag of apples that had begun to rot. Apparently, my son placed them in the corner hidden under some other items. No one realized they were there rotting until gnats began to emerge. I could not handle it. So, I went searching for something quicker and less wasteful. I found this product and purchased two of them. I am not a huge fan of seeing that many of them stuck to the adhesive when it is time to discard them. So, I have my son do that. Lol. Nevertheless, I am pleased with the product. I highly recommend being mindful of keeping the room dark when these are operating so that the gnats are not distracted by other lights and focused specifically on this light. I think that you will get rid of them faster. Just a thought. Plus, I only run mine at night. Nice and trendy little product. It is not noisy, either. We can barely hear the fan. As for longevity, I cannot speak to that, yet. Perhaps I will update my review later. I have only had mine for a short while and am not currently using it because I do not have any gnats. It worked when I needed it and that is all I can say for now. I hope this helps. Thanks.

Mosquitoes find this device more attractive than they find me :)
I live in a place with very few mosquitoes, but went through a period of mosquito activity where I was getting multiple bites every evening--and hearing the distinctive whine in my ear told me it was mosquitoes. Decided to try something new. I first set up the trap in my ensuite bathroom (was getting bites as I slept). First night it was there, it caught a couple of mosquitoes (as well as several small moths--a bonus that's great for my sweaters!). After a few nights with similar results, I moved it to the room where I watch movies and TV -- another place I'd heard the whine and gotten bites. Again, more moths than mosquitoes, but, still, a couple of mosquitoes. I didn't think I had an infestation, just enough to be causing me grief in the form of itching and swelling. I've moved the trap a few times, and changed the sticky disc twice, and can tell you that it works! I had been using it just on the constant light setting, but it has a variable light setting that I just started yesterday. Should be interesting, but nothing to report yet. So....4 stars, not 5. Nothing is perfect. The fan is loud. I saw that in a review and wondered how loud it could possibly be. It's not loud enough to drown out other sounds, but it is loud enough to hear at the level that I find myself thinking "What is that sound?" I've had it in the kitchen, thinking it might attract fruit flies, but I find the fan sound most disturbing there, because it makes me think that an appliance is on the brink of failure. Maybe I'll get used to it? Regardless, I'm going to keep using this, and I recommend it, because it attracts (and traps) those mosquitoes, moths and gnats. After a period of consistent nocturnal mosquito bites, I truly haven't had any since getting this device -- clearly they find it more attractive than they find me!

Hit or miss for gnats indoors, quiet, light is adjustable
I liked how easy this product is to use. Within 2 minutes of opening the box, I had it set up and running. The instructions are straight forward. They provide lots of sticky traps which is fantastic. I have used this product inside so far as a way of controlling gnats. It has had some success but not consistent. I still have some gnats despite running this during the day and at night. The box suggest putting apple cider vinegar in the product to increase the number of gnats that come to the trap but there is not a good place in the trap to put a cap of apple cider vinegar in. I ended up putting some outside the trap beside it and it brought them to that container more frequently than the trap. This would be an effective outside product, no doubt for mosquitos and other bugs that are attracted to light but it was not a huge success for gnats.

Amazing Indoor Trap!! No more gnats/drain flies!
This bug trap is actually very nice. It is small and compact and does not use the horrific blue light of the outdoor models. It has a purple hue to it which actually comes off like mood lighting in the dark which is very nice and relaxing. The unit is quiet and compact and plugs in. Although the cord is short, I am looking for an aftermarket longer cord so that I have more placement options. I was worried about this being left on all night but it was never noticeable. What I did notice in the morning is that this unit caught about 20 drain flies or soil gnats and that is a win in my book. I was so tired of the drain flies buzzing around each morning after no use of the water at night, so they could fly on up into my place. This unit attracted them and I had no little flies for the first time in weeks. It is an inexpensive way of attacking them which I love. The unit come with some sticky pads in the bottom of it so that the gnats stick to it like fly paper. I can easily create my own after you run out of the ew that you get with the unit with some fly paper strips or masking tape inserts cut to size. Overall, this is trap did exactly what I wanted it to do which was to attract the gnats and trap them. I highly recommend this unit!

Super honest review 2.5-3 โญ
I have had this for 7 months now. Pros: The devise does trap gnats and fruit flies. Easy to clean just pop it open and replace the sticky traps. Cons: Huge disappointment is that I noticed the stickiness of the traps wears off๐ค. After, observing it since January when I first purchase & changed the sticky traps a couple times now it last for about a week in a half or less! The little fuggen ๐ฆ๐ฆ๐ฆ start to walk around without getting stuck to the trap. ๐ฎ I have watched them go in walk around the top of the sticker and then fly right out. ๐ก Look at the pictures the sticker trap is practically empty and I saw flies Walking around it and flying right out Honestly, "the window to returned is closed now", but I would have definitely returned it. I noticed this problem right away but my gnat problem was so out of control and I was so busy I didn't care to put energy to return it because I would have bought something better , overall the device was doing it's job(not perfect but I settled) Continue Cons: device is noisy. it's not super loud but it's kinda annoying (I mean already the noise of the refrigerator annoys me) I do turn it off sometimes when the noise annoys me. For the price of almost $50 is not worth it!!! I don't think they sell individual sticker traps.

Winning the war against the fruit flies!
Every spring, we get invaded by fruit flies. They seem to come up from the kitchen sink drains, even though we are careful to never wash any kind of food down them. We've gone so far as to stop buying fresh fruit during certain months (not ideal) and even dumping bleach down the kitchen sink's drains (not ideal, and doesn't work long-term.) Last year we grabbed an indoor/outdoor bug zapper and set it up in the kitchen (on a shelf, away from water and out of reach from curious kids or the two dogs) I worked great and I personally took some kind of pleasure every time I heard the ZAP from across the room. But I was the only one who did, my wife found it distracting when after nearly every ZAP, one or both of our pups would react by jumping up, barking or otherwise losing their minds. This item makes only a slight humming sound from the internal fan running. We parked it a foot away from the sink the first night and let it run until morning. I popped it open and there were dozens of the little buggers stuck to the adhesive inside. The manual says to let it run for up to 12 hours at a time, but we're more than happy to just let it do it's thing all day long. NOTE: larger houseflies that get caught may need a little extra time to get permanently stuck to the sticker, so give it a quick glance before popping the bottom open.
