The reviews for this product are unfairly negative and I wanted to balance them out with my positive experience.I bought the 12 inch model and had it installed in the cargo area of my SUV. It is working with my decent factory system that had a pathetic factory subwoofer. It was installed with an 8 gauge stinger pro wire kit and an aftermarket level adapter.ProsTakes up almost no space at all and the box shape is ideal for people who don’t want a goofy looking square or rectangular subwoofer boxSound quality is good. I’ve had powerful high end systems before.Price is reasonable for what you are gettingConsIf you are a bass-head look elsewhere, but then that is obvious that you shouldn’t be looking at a product like this anyway, if you are looking to shake the block with bass

These subs blow both fuses, I had to return mine in just a few days. Kicker knows about the issue with subsonic filter at low volumes and did nothing to fix the issue. It's just a matter of time until the unit will start blowing fuses, some in a day like mine and some in a few weeks or months but eventually all have this issue. I can't believe that a reputable company like Kicker would sell a product with a known defect and don't take the steps to fix it. Amazon is an amazing company and accepted the return, it's not their fault, thanks to their best customer service on the planet and they should listen to all the bad reviews, contact Kicker to solve the issue and not continue to sell Kicker's defective items because they will get lots of returns on these. Although Kicker has some good products, this isn't one. Yes, it sounds great when it works, but it's short lived and not worth $500.

It slaps and fits nicely in my Q7

I listen to range of EDM and heavy bass, which I would think kicker could easily support .Cuts out at 1/2 the volume and 1/2 the power settings as my Rockville powered 10” unit did .I listen to range of EDM and heavy bass, which I would think this kicker unit could easily support… big let downWhat’s the point in having dual 12” to set under 50% powerOverall , not worth $450 .

Installed mine a year ago and have not had a problem. Bangs and its clear! Works out great for the price

My install guy told me that there was a recall by KICKER on this and the 10" so I contacted amazon and the customer service told me there wasn't one. Called kicker and they confirmed there's a recall on this product and that it shouldn't be sold.
