I was skeptical about the screen protector after reading some reviews, but I had no problem with the installation, it looks and works great! I suggest reading through the instructions beforehand so you know what to expect. That is something I highly suggest if you want a near perfect application. The gap between the screen protector, and the metal on the watch is so minimal that I have no complaints. In fact, it makes sense that there is a tiny gap. I still don’t see something being able to get in between and crack the screen because it will either hit the screen protector or the metal first. Little tip: Spray down both sides of the screen protector generously, then squeegee the excess water out from underneath the screen protector so that you can center the screen protector before it starts to dry. Once you have it centered and it feels like it’s drying (not moving), then palm the beveled edges down for a few minutes. I’m very happy with the application. There are no bubbles and no raised/peeled-back edges!

Purchase a screen protector immediately after purchasing your new watch. I say this because I made the mistake of not having a screen protector. My watch face was clean and undamaged for about 5 months, but somehow my watch face had mysteriously gotten several of minor scratches on the glass. I have no idea how that happened and if it was even preventable which is why I’m telling you to get a screen protector if you haven’t already, it is totally worth it! This one specifically is great. It’s easy to install, and you get 6 protectors for a very good price. After installing, if done right, the screen protector is perfectly secured and I personally can’t tell there’s a protector on my watch, even the touch on the screen feels nearly identical to the regular watch face. I’m yet to see any delay or negative effect on the watches performance due to the protector. Lastly, if you have scratches on your watch already, (like myself) the screen protector will hide the scratches at certain angles and make the scratches less visible at other angles, however, they will still be visible depending on the severity of the scratch. I'm actually rather amazed. First off, the instructions on the box are for a cell phone, not a watch, and it *is* a slightly different installation process. Second, the screen protectors have 4 sticker tabs on it with individual steps listed out. First you remove the top layer in Step 1. Steps 2 and 3 just say "push" so you assume that means put the screen protector on the watch and push out the air bubbles. Step 4 has you peel away the next layer, and then...you have a translucent screen cover. Wtf? Well, it turns out that translucent layer is actually two semi-circles which you have to peel away, which reveals the sticky layer. Which means if you follow the instructions, your screen protector is actually on UPSIDE-DOWN! It's easier to just peel away all the layers immediately, then apply the protector to the screen (sticky side down of course!) and ignore those worthless "instructions". Once you figure that out it's perfectly fine. The fit is a bit small for the screen but not to a point that it's worth worrying about. I did get some air bubbles but that's the nature of screen protectors and if you try a few times you can usually get one on with no air bubbles. But the fact that they gave you INCORRECT instructions makes me not recommend this product. If they can't get that right, they don't deserve your money.

The instructions don't make a lot of sense but it's easy enough to figure out on your own. The screen is hardly noticeable once applied. All the bubbles disappeared after 72 hours.

Really like this product and it does as advertised! It has saved my watch (Garmin Forerunner 965) face multiple times! Even after saving my watch I was able to still use the existing shield until I could replace for a new one. Installing is tricky sort of with the Forerunner 965 due to the watch having beveled edges but IF you FOLLOW the directions, exactly, not much room for error, then the shields will go one flawlessly!! I have had to pull up the shield and realign once during an install and it did not seem to affect the "life span" of the shield. I did seem to mess one up when installing, due to not noticing the edges did not "cure" completely and the shield did not hold as long. Not sure if it was my fault or a defective shield. I will test the Warranty as it says it covers installation errors. If they do, then I give this product 6 stars! Otherwise, I keep the 5 stars and still recommend!

Use on FR970. In use for 3 months so far. Has definitely taken impacts in that time. There is a dent in it, but difficult to see. I am very glad to have this on. Easy to put on. Looks great. It comes with 6 so you can replace if it gets scuffed unacceptably.

Perfect fit and good durability. I used these on another garmin watch and never had any problems. Usually get 6-12 months of use out of one protector depending on how I am with my watch. They last a while and I like how it comes in a 6 pack. I probably won’t ever have to order more.

Decent screen coverage on my Forerunner 965. Reason for 3 stars is that is took me 3 tries to get it on properly as the instructions, or lack thereof are horrible. So I wasted 3 screens.

Thought that it would be a pain in the rear putting this on. I'm flabbergasted at how easy it was (great instructions and video) and that I cannot even tell that there is a protector on it. AMAZING! And I've 5 spare. :) 6 weeks later and it still looks awesome, in fact I think it does, I can't even tell that it's on. ;)

Screen Protector is difficult to apply and needs a few tries (lucky they provide 6 in the box) to get rid of all bubbles.

Easy to apply. Great quality. Fit was slightly smaller on the Garmin Forerunner 965.
