Samsung Galaxy S23+ Plus 5G, US Version, 256GB, Phantom Black - Unlocked (Renewed)

Screen is in perfect condition, body has a couple small dings and there are scratches around the charge port but not too bad. Phone was shipped to me with a little adhesive protector over the screen which was a nice touch and... It arrived with an authentic Samsung speed charging 'block' too. For the price, the S23+ is an INCREDIBLELY good deal I think. After using it for my first day I noticed it got surprisingly warm when simply playing music from the Tidal app. That struck me as kinda odd, although I don't have a case on it yet. Maybe it being that warm is normal and I just never notice as all my phones have cases. We'll see how she holds up though.

I purchased Samsung Galaxy S23 plus excellent refurbished phone from IT Tech out of New York. January 29th 2026. I waited until now to leave a review. (March 8, 2026) I had tried to cancel the order but it had already shipped. When it arrived I immediately requested a return/refund. Amazon said thay would communicate with the seller for a return request. I was thinking this is not going to go well! The seller gave a prompt response and a no questions asked free shipping return for a full refund. What a relief! I didn't even open the box. I struggled with the decision to buy a refurbished phone. What if it's not really unlocked? What if the battery doesn't last, etc. so I thought it was a bad idea and don't open it. Although their return policy was still valid if I had opened it. (They never asked) Long story short, I ended up needing it and took it to Verizon to get it set up, hoping for the best. Verizon confirmed it was everything as advertised. It was unlocked, ligit software, correct updates, etc. It was in excellent condition as advertised. Maybe a couple light scratches where the charger output is but otherwise almost prestine. Screen was perfect. Even Verizon employee was impressed. He kept saying how much did you pay for this?! $350 with tax. Can't beat it! Phone has 100% charge as well! It may not hold a charge as long as it should and does get a little bit hot at times bt I am constantly on it as I do everything on it. Never even touch a computer. This is a very long, scatter brained review, and I will update if something changes but as of now I am quite impressed with this phone and this company, specifically. ** BEST careful reading the reviews as I noticed that the reviews for the phone is not divided by each individual company Amazon is doing business with so I would encourage you to look at the seller and their reviews specifically before purchasing from them. I've had this phone for a few months now and it works like a champ. Very fast charging. 65 watt charger and my own charging cable 5% to 90% in 30 minutes. Great all around phone.

I have had this phone for less than 4 months and it has been nothing but trouble. It worked fine right out of the box, but then, it started failing to find signal intermittently. Not just on the road, but even sitting at my house. I worked with Verizon, doing registrations, and resets, etc. It would work, then a couple weeks later, more failures. You don't know until you miss a call or try to make a call. I should have sent it back immediately. My mistake. It seemed like it was better, then it would go bad again. Fast forward to last week. The USB audio output stopped working. I tried everything. Got lots of advice from other S23 owners and techies. No luck. This is a refurbished phone. I get it, but it should be able to do the basic stuff. My last three phones have been refurbished Samsung Galaxies. This is my first bad experience. In fact, I only replaced my S20 because my IT department said it wouldn't meet our cyber requirements. Also, this phone wasn't super cheap. It's really more phone than I need, but I was trying to stick to the Samsung line that I have a long history with. I have ordered a low-cost new Motorola with basic capability. If it works, great, if not, I'll send it back immediately. Watch for that review.

Bought this renewed Samsung S 23+ through Amazon. It arrived quickly and looked in new condition. The next day a switched the sim from my Apple SE and it worked perfectly. Followed the steps to download my contacts off the Apple and I was off and running. There's nothing wrong with the Samsung s 23+. It has a very good screen. Lots of memory. And a fast processor. There is a bit of learning curve from Apple IOS to Samsung Android. I mention that only because it has been an inconvenience but not the phone's fault. It has so many setting and options that it is a little over-whelming. As a I said a little over a week in and I am happy with the way phone has worked. Oh, and the sound on phone calls is good too! I would recommend buying one from this seller as it was in excellent condition as rated.

My phone arrived undamaged, in perfect condition! I waited to do this review until I had it for a bit to make sure everything worked right. Well....IT'S AMAZING!!! The phone was not damaged in any way. It looked like a brand new phone, right out of the box! Not only that, but it functions flawlessly. I don't use all of the features (and it has a lot of them), mostly because I don't do social media stuff, or take many pictures. However, taking pictures is absolutely amazing! There are sooooo many options: like filters, colors, cropping, picture size, frame size, etc. There's just a ton of them. There is also Biometric features, which I appreciate. I had the S9+ and the fingerprint reader was on the back. If you use the fingerprint feature on this phone, make sure you set a passcode or pin as well. The fingerprint reader is on the screen. It shows as a pop-up. Of course you have to go through the fingerprint set-up first, and can choose more than one finger/thumb. My concern is that if the screen gets damaged where the reader is, the screen probably wouldn't be able to be able to read your print. It does NOT have an iris scanner. This IS a 5G phone, but it can connect to 4G and other networks as well. I believe there might have been a SIM card, but I honestly don't remember. I took the SIM from my other phone and put it in this one, so I didn't need it anyway. I use AT&T pre-paid, and it works fine. Right out of the box. I don't know if it's unlocked to a variety of different network or service providers. My service provider is AT&T, and the phone I got from this seller is also AT&T. My recommendation to anyone considering purchasing this phone, would be to contact the seller, first and ask about supported service providers. If you have AT&T, it's a total win! :) This phone charges super fast, and the battery life is fabulous. For my usage, anyway. You absolutely have to use a fast charging cable, or you'll ruin your phone. I believe it came with a USB cable, but I can't remember if the block was included. Either way, if you need to get a charging block, and/or cable, MAKE SURE they're fast charging!!! I thought the cable it came with was too short for my needs, so I bought a new one on Amazon that is specifically for the S23+...and phones like it. Another recommendation I have is to get an Otterbox. BEFORE you start using the phone. If you drop it, then a lot of money was spent for nothing. The camera lenses on the back protrude. I personally have the Otterbox Defender series, as the case itself prevents the camera lenses from touching any surface when you lay the phone down. It's the same if you lay it face down. The cover prevents the face from touching the surface of anything. I would seriously consider getting a high quality case with this phone, instead of a cheap knock-off. (Not all cases are created equal.) The phone is constructed of metal, not plastic, so it feels very well made. It's not a light phone, but not super heavy, either. At least to me. The phone doesn't come in an original box. At least mine didn't. It came with the phone and charging cable. I can't remember if it came with the little key that opens the SIM slot. If it doesn't, you'll need to get one. It also doesn't come with a manual. Also, unless you get the S23 Ultra, there is no stylus. If that's what you're looking for, the S23+ doesn't have that capability at all. You aren't able to get an S Pen with it, as the S Pen wouldn't function, even if you bought one and tried. I would also like to mention that it's super easy to transfer your data and contacts (and whatever else) to the S23+. I don't have any idea about transferring from an Apple product, though. Samsung is my go-to for phones. As for settings, there are too many to list. There is a specific one for the battery that I would like to mention, however. It makes it so your phone doesn't charge over 80% when fully charged, which is important. The phone won't overcharge that way and end up ruining your battery. As for call settings, there are a lot of those as well. For people that are hard of hearing, there are options for that. If, on the other hand, you'd like to protect your hearing and how loud the phone can get while listening to music or talking on it, you can limit the volume. It has features for the blind, but I don't know what that entails. It also has the car feature, but I don't know anything about that. I don't drive. I hope this review was helpful. :)

At first it was not able to connect with Consumer Cellular on another day and with someone else it worked. The Phone is good however the phone I bought from Verizon would not be unlocked by Verizon even though our contract was done and the phone was paid for in full. Be very leary of doing business with Verizon I cannot tell you how many times I tried to get my phone unlocked but was given lies and the run around constantly. I had enough and just replaced the phone to change to go with a much better cell service provider. By the way the phone is still locked.

It was in perfect condition, like new and the battery last me 2 full days.

Phone arrived in perfect condition and has been great so far. No damage, cameras are great and battery life is good.

At first, I was very cautious, especially when you're spending just over a grand on a pre-owned phone on Amazon, but the seller seemed very reliable and shipped the phone to be priority shipping at no extra charge. It didn't come in it's original packaging (which usually has me worried) but the phone is 100% authentic. It came packaged with the charger and the pin for the nano sim. The battery life is practically brand new, I go from 100% to 80% after coming back home from a shift (10 hours including commute, using the phone with moderate scrolling, couple phone/video calls, an hour of gaming on PUBG mobile, Spotify on the bluetooth speaker for the whole shift at work, picture taking of food for the restaurant I work at), I'm very impressed the battery is in a perfect condition. I'll even forget to charge the phone before I go to bed and it'll still survive the shift at work the next day (no seriously, it really does) As for the aesthetics, there was very little to no scratches on my phone. It pretty much arrived in mint condition. Charge ports work perfectly fine along with the wireless charging (and yes, it does fast charging, as it should). Phone calls are loud and clear and so is the speaker on the phone. Fingerprint sensor is very accurate (even with a screen protector) along with facial recognition and the ol' reliable PIN/Pattern code. The cameras work perfectly fine, all four lenses (believe me, I made sure) along with the flash. Overall, I love this phone. More importantly, the seller delivered a great product and a very quick delivery too (literally arrived at my door the next day) and especially at a good price. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐, highly recommend.
