I am always impressed with Jakemy tools. They aren't the flashiest brand but everything I've owned by then I still use today. They're good quality small electronics repair tools. I think my first jakemy set was around the iPhone 5s era so well over 10 years. I own some of their molex and other depinning tools, ultrasonic cutter, and various screwdriver sets. I caught this one on a deal and it's sort of a one-stop shop so I highly recommend it. Screwdriver has a built-in extension tweezers nylon brush pretty much anything you need and some things you don't know you need until you need it. Ifixit like quality no loose cheap parts

This should cover every possible micro DYI job! Very nicely packed in a good quality plastic case. Every single bit/tool in the set is well made and of good quality. I've used it several times on some micro projects and it's been perfect! The bits are in perfect condition bite into screws (whatever the needed application may be) perfectly. I had a question about a ratcheting screwdriver which I think it should have come with the set. I received instead a non-ratcheting screwdriver which is fine for its purpose. I especially love the telescopic head of the regular screwdriver which extends out quite a bit, incrementally, then tucks itself back into the handle.Nicely done! I emailed the manufacturer and I'm waiting for an answer but regardless of what they decide to send me (a ratcheting or non-ratcheting), both are perfect and totally useful, especially for micro-application when torque is hardly an issue. But I was curious to see if they send me a non-ratcheting screwdriver by mistake. These guys are good! Quality stuff! Good job!

This set covers ALL the fasteners that you will ever need for any precision job! There won’t be another fastener you can’t get out, and it comes with more, included are precise tweezers for super small fasteners or microchips etc. the case is also a storage tray for your fasteners during your project!

The kit is great, with all the bits you would need for repair, I especially like the additional tools and screw box. The only let down, in my opinion, is the end of the screwdriver, the last precision driver I owned, was aluminium, so it sat nicely in the palm of your hand, and the top swivelled freely and smoothly and was lovely to use. However, the rotating end on this driver, is plastic and floppy, it feels really cheap in the hand, and is not as nice to use. It is a shame they did not pay more attention to this, as this is the component you will be using all of the time, the rubber grip is nice, everything else is nice, the ability to extend the drive is great, I just wish the end rotating cap was aluminium with a more precise fit, as it feels a but junky to use. I hate to say it, but i enjoy using good quality tools, its annoying enough to make we want to buy another set with a better driver.

These bits are completely unreliable. The screw heads stripped almost immediately — the slots just kept slipping, even with normal pressure. I wasn’t forcing them at all, but the T3 and T4 bits failed on the very first use. Because of that, I couldn’t finish my MacBook Pro repair and ended up with the laptop partially disassembled. Not recommended for any precise repair work.
