Order arrived quickly and the Speechmike is working perfectly. Happy with my purchase.

In their infinite wisdom, Philips engineers designed the cable socket on this speechmike so that the standard mini-usb plug does not fit. However, the speechmike is compatible with mini USB plugs/cables - you don't have purchase official replacement cables (if you require a shorter or longer cable), but you will need to modify the plastic bit of the plug to make sure it fits inside of the socket, by sanding off part of the plastic on both sides of the plug. Otherwise, the Mike is great. I use it with Dragon Dictate.

La configuration n'est pas evidente et il n'y a pas de configuration pré-installé pour word. Je n'ai pas vu de module d'entraînement pour améliorer la reconnaissance !. Par exemple pour des villes, des noms propres ou des termes techniques. Pour gérer la ponctuation c'est loin d'être efficace à 100%. Et en programant des bouton dédiés, il faut attendre que le système aie fini sa reconnaissance pour inserer la ponctuation...si on le fait en même temps que la dictée, il ne l'insere pas au bon endroit, mais à la fin. On se retrouve alors avec toute la ponctuation regroupée à la fin du texte !!! Je l'ai acheté pour dactylographier un manuscrit de 170 pages, mais j'ai hésité à le faire au clavier.... Le micro en lui même et le système d'annulation du brit de fond c'est ok.

Pas de paramétrage à faire, vous branchez et ça fonctionne. Très bon filtre de bruits parasites

Works well for dictation and light weight.

Used this model and previous models with different softwares ...now this model with dragon medical practice works like a charm frish out of the box! Worth the price and I like the replacement of the trackball. For me I prefer this button activation.

In Kombination mit Dragon 15.x eine sehr gute Kombi und quasi DER Standard. Angesichts der guten Erkennungsqualität von Siri, Alexa und co. darf man bei einer so teuren Kombi aber auch was erwarten. Dieser SpeechMike hat statt der bekannten Kugel, ein Mini-Touchpad als Mouse-Ersatz, damit klappt es ganz gut und dürfte auch verschleißfester sein - und hygienischer zum Desinfizieren des SpeechMike. Die Handhabung ist ebenfalls sehr gut. Noch besser fand ich die rauen Tasten der älteren SpeechMike, diese waren weniger „glitschig“. Wegen etlicher schlechter Rezensionen mit Bericht von Funkabbrüchen, habe ich mich bewusst für ein Modell mit Kabel entschieden. Mitgeliefert wird eine Wandhalterung; damit lassen sich hoffentlich Kabelbrüche vermeiden...
