Can this adapter be used with standard (non-wifi) sd cards? my camera has a cf card slot and i'd rather just use my sd cards.

look all this card does is emulate the IDE/CF protocol the "wifi" part is just marketing bs about how it is a thin cf card (like 99% of cf card slots) this will work for almost ANY cf card device and the only issue will be that SD cards can often be too slow for HD video recording if the bitrate of your camera is over roughly 30mbits/s

There is no wifi, this is an sd card adapter.

Does this match the write speed of the inserted card?

Likely going to be limited by the SD card or the CF interface limits as often a standard class 10 card will be used you will likely be more limited by the card or if being used for a retro hard drive replacement then limited by the ata standard of your device

Will this work for a cannon rebel 300D?

The SD card I got was initially formatted with exFAT, which my cannon rebel XT did not recognize, giving a CF error. But I reformatted it as Large FAT32 (With the program Rufus), put the card back in, and it had no issues at all. I haven't had time to extensively test it, however.
