Excellent toast
Can’t fault this toaster. Some people have complained in their reviews that the slots aren’t suitable for large slices of bread. I have found exactly the opposite. You get 2 very long slots, so maybe not possible to toast 4 slices of large bread at once, but by inserting the bread sideways you can toast tall, long , thick, in fact any shape of bread perfectly. It has a marvellous digital timer on the front counting down in seconds so you know exactly how long you have left, and it flashes up which setting you have chosen as well. The setting dial is perfectly placed on the front and is super easy to use. The toast comes out really crispy and evenly browned, and is also really hot. Crispy on the outside but not hard or chewy. Much better than my old Russell Hobs toaster which took ages and the toast came out soggy and just warm. The toaster is very solidly built and looks good too.

Buy something else instead
Not a very good toaster at all, it's more suited for toasting buns or crumpets, it's not suitable for normal bread as it doesn't toast properly, you have to keep popping the toast up and turn the bread around so it cooks evenly. I wouldn't have bought this if knew how bad it is so it's a waste of money to buy, and I only gave it 2 stars because it can toast crumpets fine. EDIT: the company has taken the time to read reviews and reached out to me and been kind enough to solve the matter of my review, so I am amending my review to reflect the company and how they have dealt with the issues raised. I have a lot of respect for people like that and I thank them for all their help 👍 so my review now reflects the company and not the product.

Looks cool but Lasted 2months.
This item was received on the 25th February and after using this item for months it has broken. Today when using the toaster 3 out of the 4 toasting elements have stopped working and everything just toasts on on side. Appreciate that this is not the most expensive toaster in the world but I would expect it to work for longer than 2months. Like the look and functions of the toaster but does fit 4 slices in at once like it suggests , unless the bread is tiny. Most common slice bread doesn’t fit. And toasts unevenly. Shame as it looks cool.

.
Great piece of kit for the time it lasted, but 3 elements gave out all at once just under 2 years old.

Finally! A toaster that lets me multi-task without the "toast-anxiety"
As someone constantly trying to reclaim minutes of my day, this Arendo Frukost toaster has been a genuine sanity-saver. The standout feature is the digital countdown display—it sounds small, but knowing exactly how many seconds are left means I can dash upstairs for a laundry load or empty the dishwasher instead of hovering in the kitchen waiting for a "surprise" pop. The long slots are a dream for the awkward-sized sourdough loaves from my local bakery; no more half-toasted tops or squishing bread in. The double-wall housing stays impressively cool to the touch, which is a great safety bonus. It’s sleek, the browning is consistent across all 6 settings, and that remaining time display is a game-changer for a busy household. Highly recommend for anyone who values their time as much as their breakfast!

Sleek clean design and controls, even toasting, helpful countdown timer to completion
I bough the kettle and toaster - may be I have OCD - but there is no way I could have a kettle and toaster on the countertop that don't match ! Toaster was bought to match - simple clean controls. I love that you can set the level you want things toasted to, and you get a countdown timer to completion, so you can be ready for whatever you are toasting to pop up. Even toasting. Perfect appliance. The kettle is excellent - stainless steel inside, so nasty taste of plastic (remember if you can taste the plastic it means the plastic molecules are in the water you are drinking!). The temperature display is way more useful than I thought it would be - shows the temperature of the water when you fill the kettle, can see it rising as it heats up - so you can judge how long you have until its ready, but if like me you are doing several things at once - boil the kettle for tea - don't use it immediately I always used to flick it back on to re-boil ... with the temperature display just a quick glance lets you know if that is necessary ... if the water is at 97 really don't need to waste energy on re-boiling for 3 degrees. Written my review for both products together for simplicity. Highly recommend both the kettle and toaster. Well made, sleek crisp design, with useful features like the temperature and timer countdown on the toaster.

Nice Looks, Poor Design
I don't want to get all existential, but what value is a toaster that doesn't do the one job required of it very well? Yes, this toasts bread. Or at least it toasts some part of the bread you put in it. But that's not really the full story. Let's get the first bit out of the way. I like the way this toaster looks. The presence of the countdown timer is a nice if ultimately pointless addition (I know the toast is done when it pops up, thanks!). The slots are wide, and the addition of the toasting rack is good. Unfortunately, that's where the good review ends. I didn't want a four-slice toaster. I like having wider slots so I can toast odd-shaped bread including larger unsliced loaves. My last toaster was a wide-slot Breville toaster which is apparently no longer made. This one looked like an ideal replacement as it was just as tall and wide, but a little slimmer. The problem stems from the fact that despite this toaster being just as deep as my old toaster, the slices don't go down nearly as far as they could do. When you put the slices in and push the lever down, there's at least an extra inch of room for the bread to go down which isn't being used. As a result, even with pretty regular sliced loaves, the one edge of the bread doesn't toast even when laid on it's side. It honestly doesn't make any sense. A slight change of spring, or the lever mechanism being tweaked so that the toast goes down further and this would be fine. I honestly cannot recommend this toaster either for toasting 4 slices or for 2. It's really not fit for purpose, which seems to be the case for every wide-slot toaster I've looked at. How it got through basic product testing, I really don't know. Unless German bread is much longer and thinner than UK bread, it seems like it would only have required 1-2 attempts at toasting to show that it doesn't do what it's meant to. I really hope someone can make a wide slot toaster that just works. I'm happy to take recommendations.
