This was a gift for my wife and she loved it. The Taiyaki came out great. Doesn't take up a lot of room and easy to store. The heat distribution is good, but it can be a bit high so keep your eye on your Taiyaki

Gifted this to my niece for Christmas and we spent time together making Taiyaki. We found a recipe online, got ingredients and fired it up. Worked out of the box, easy to understand. Works like a waffle maker, easy to use and understand. Couple notes: The 'green' light isnt actually green...its a faint orange under the green reflector. So that threw us both off as we waited for about 20min for the iron to heat up. After my wife pointed out the light, we got to work. Use Pam or some other non-stick for additional ease of use. Instructions recommend it. Try not to overfill the molds with batter. The batter will expand. If you overfill, the batter leaks out the sides. Tough to clean up afterward. I'd like for the irons to be removable. That would make cleanup soooo much easier, but it is what it is. Overall, for the price, this is great and easy to use. With a good recipe, it makes some delicious taiyaki.

I’ve been loving this taiyaki machine! It’s super easy to use, and cleanup is no hassle at all. The plates are removable, so I can just take them off and give them a quick wash—no mess, no stress. It also cooks really evenly, and the taiyaki turn out so cute and tasty. I’ve tried it with red bean, Nutella, even cheese—and everything came out great. It’s compact too, so I can stash it away when I’m not using it. Totally worth it if you’re into fun snacks!

It works fine, but I don't recommend this because of below disadvantages: Disadvantage 1) Too flat: The mold is smaller than what we had seen in the street food at Japan or Korea. Also, it is flat so that mix should run over the mold. It makes the maker easily dirty. 2) Too difficult to clean: Combined with the flatness of the maker, the mix easily goes to the gap between the grill and makers. 3) Not durable: I disassembled just once to clean the mix in the gap. The handle part was broken easily when I tighten up a screw. 4) Cannot control the temperature: No button here. So, you cannot control the heat. So, I have to plug in and out. One tip is that you should put everything before turning on the machine, maybe with the order of mix - stuffing - mix , close the lid, and turn on the maker. Yes, it's cheap. It can have disadvantage, but I don't thing the maker is not worthy for $30 compared to the other waffle iron we can get at that price.

Golden outside and fluffy inside. Easy to use. Non stick. Easy breakfast. I make the little fishies, cut some apples, and the kids have a balanced breakfast that’s much healthier than McDonalds. I also filled them with pumpkin pie filling and spiced the batter with pumpkin pie spice. Then I made some honey butter for dipping. Perfect for watching spooky movies around Halloween.

Got this taiyaki maker as a birthday gift from me to myself and I've used it twice now as I write this review! Heat level is perfect for making them! As you pour the batter carefully and get to adding the filling, you don't have to stress about rushing to put the filling bit on it as the bottom cooks. Haven't had any burns yet! Cleaning it is not a problem with a soapy sponge, getting the tail areas with the brush it comes with, then rinsing it at an angle so water doesn't drown it and then letting it evaporate the water away.

Makes cute little taiyaki waffles. The recipe in the instruction booklet works well, but is not very sweet. The taiyaki come out more soft and slightly chewy than crispy. I fill them with chocolate chips or Nutella. The kids love them!

Estamos muy contentas mi nena y yo hace tiempo queríamos algo así debido a que es muy difícil conseguir algo así en la ciudad , muy fácil de hacer solo conseguí una receta en internet trae una pero quería otra que ví se cosen en 7 minutos tal vez por la altura del mar pero en general está muy bien

Love the little pastry that comes out it, I was also able to do with the “pate sucrée and pate brisée “ which are more hard and it worked very well along with some apple feeling.
