Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell

This is a great book! I love the Splinter Cell games and this book is awesome too! I loved learning more about all the special gear Sam Fisher uses! Great story, lots of action and a fun read! Thank you!

Very Clancy like. Long read but stay with it Definitely Clancy-esc. Easy read but the foreigners take a bit of who is who til you get used to them. Liked his Hi tech gear. Hope it,s real. All in all a four instead of a five just because he got too word about locations. ,

This was a great book. I had a wonderful time reading this. My only problem was they could have done a better job of proofreading the words before releasing it.

Tom Clancy series are the greatest. Waiting for more book's to come out.

This book is a little crudely written compared to some of the later books but overall its a fun little quick read. Just what I wanted: A tactical romance novel of sorts.

This was a wonderful compliment to the Splinter Cell series and wider Clancyverse. David Michaels or in this case Raymond Benson did a wonderful job creating Sam Fisher in book form. It was a bit slow at times but it picked up towards the end. While this isn't my first rodeo with Fisher in book form. I'm excited to check out what the other books have in store.

Own the first 4 on paperback when they came out loved them then and still love them now. Nothing is better than sitting down and reading a good spy book.

I love the opening introduction! It gives me the excitement of Sam Fisher's Adventure and I look forward to see what happens next :) UPDATE 05/11/2018: I just finished reading the book and it was quite an adventure. I felt immersed into the story that I could not put it down. As I had played the game of the series, I love reading on it, rather than playing it as I am trying to fight off my video game addiction. Now that I am committed to reading, I will continue Sam Fisher's adventure in the next book in the series, Splinter Cell: Operation Barracuda.

Não vai ser "o livro da sua vida" mas pra quem quer uma leitura leve e prazerosa, gosta de espionagem e especialmente pra quem jogou os jogos, vale o seu tempo.

Sur un autre site j'ai lu une critique de "Splinter Cell-Conviction" qui m'a fait bondir. La demoiselle d'abord lit la traduction, mauvaise, puisque déjà le titre n'est pas bon, pas plus que le descriptif et encore moins le nombre de pages(la moitié). Dans ces conditions on ne critique pas Tom Clancy, on lit la VO. Il faut aussi lire les couvertures : l'idée du jeu vidéo est de Tom Clancy mais la série est écrite par David Michaels qui, purée, fait un sacré travail d'adaptation car, si je n'avais fait de recherche sur Internet, jamais au grand jamais je n'aurais pensé à un jeu vidéo ! En fait je suis tombée amoureuse de Sam Fisher : il est mon compagnon dans mes rêves de déjà retraitée. S'il est bien soutenu par la NSA dans son travail et dans l'instant (de sacrés "gadgets" : James Bond est novice), il n'en reste pas moins qu'il a une condition physique enviable, des décisions à prendre et le sens des priorités. Vu son job, les sentiments n'en sont pas une (de priorité) donc il les met de côté mais en tient compte. Après les tensions auxquelles il est soumis en mission, ce pour notre bonheur, il faut une pause pour digérer avant de repartir... A "splinter" est une écharde, une esquille mais celle là frappe comme la foudre !

Jeder hat sein Geschmack. und Jeder hat eine andere Meinung zu einem Buch. Meine Meinung ist, das hier Sam inklusiv seinem Privatleben und Arbeitsleben etwas mehr ausgeschmückt wurde als man in den sowieso schon sehr gut gewordenen Videospiele mitbekommt. Die Geschichte ist auch sehr Spannend geschrieben und gefällt mir.

Great book. Especially if you are a fan of the games
