This is an Audio interface. So long as it has a mic attached you can use it for any audio input.

My setup . macmini > smsl su8 dac > headphone amp (smsl sp200). can i keep my current setup and connect it to this audio interface?

If your trying to link this via computer using usb it would work although it doesn’t have matching inputs. Ie one Xlr, one ts jack socket. If you don’t have a computer, it wouldn’t work. Hope that helps

Does it support the software volume control on mac or only hardware volume control? Also, does it awake with the mac from sleep?

It does awake with the mac volume can be controlled only from the device I believe

Do you have to install drivers or it’s plug-and-play?

With a Mac no, it just works. No idea about windows although I’m pretty sure there’s a driver pack on the website
