Honest, non paid and bought with my own money. Fairly straight forward, having an OEM product that fits exact and no issues. Very easy simple to replace and the value was better than buying it on the Samsung.com website

The water/ice tastes cleaner, and the overall quality is just better than the cheaper alternatives. With the carbon block filtration, you can genuinely tell it removes that “old fridge taste” that off-brands never seem to get rid of. Installation was incredibly easy — it took less than a minute. You just twist the old one out and twist the new one in (turn your water off behind the fridge first so that it doesn't leak). No leaks, no forcing anything, no complicated steps. It fit perfectly on the first try. It'll click in place. I also appreciate that it lasts a full six months, and the flow rate stays consistent the entire time instead of slowing down after a few weeks. You get reliable performance all the way through. Yes, it costs a little more than generic filters that are manufactured who knows where, but I believe the quality truly justifies the price. Cleaner water, better-tasting ice, reliable filtration, and zero installation hassle. Looks big, but when installed, it's out if sight entirely. It's also silent when installed properly - no sliding, rattling, or moving around, even when opening and closing drawers. Highly recommended if you want genuine quality and peace of mind.

I don’t have public water at my house, and my refrigerator was starting to dispense yellowish water with an unpleasant taste. This filter completely solved my problem! Now I have clean, fresh-tasting water every time. The installation was simple, and the difference in quality is night and day. If you have filtration issues or well water, this is a must-have. I save so much money with this filter! I used to buy the 5 gallon jug of bottled water for the water cooler I had at the house. Since getting this Samsung fridge, I haven’t purchased ANY water and sold the Primo water cooler! Just change this filter every six months and you’re good to go. I fill my Keurig coffee maker at least twice a day, and fill the animal’s water bowls a couple of times a day. It dispenses clean, clear water and makes great ice. Great filter! Good purchase.

The 2-pack I received was in a brown box and the printing on the filters is gray, not blue. There were no magnetic strips for authentication, just QR codes. I went to the Samsung website to check out the filters there and discovered that they show a picture of one with blue printing and one with only gray printing. Bottom line, the gray ones in the brown box are genuine Samsung replacement filters. The blue printed ones are also genuine Samsung replacement filters. Installing the filter wasn't difficult but it was my first time replacing the filter and it did take me a couple of tries to get it placed correctly and locked in correctly -- probably because I was a bit rushed at that time. Maybe also because I had removed a full filter and was replacing it with an 'empty' and clean filter which was much lighter. The first few pitchers I filled were 'noisy' and had air bubbles in them. After doing that several times as recommended, there is no more noise or air bubbles and it seems to be working well so far. The Genuine Samsung Replacement filters are a bit pricier than the off-brand ones available. I got mine on a limited time deal, however, so didn't spend much more than for an off-brand. Overall, I'm satisfied with this purchase and satisfied that the filters I received are Genuine Samsung filters.

These are genuine and work perfectly. Water is clear and tastes great. I was confused when I read one of the reviews that mentioned she had to turn the water off in her house in order to change the filter. I don’t think that is required. I never do that and have had no issues swapping out the old filter for the new one.
