These beans have to soak I usually soak overnight in cold water I put them in my slow cooker for a few hours, depending on how you like them, the color, texture and season to taste will have you wanting more. Excellent price, stock up while you can. Prices change every day

Great quality for the price — a reliable pantry staple.

Product arrived in good quality, the beans seemed washed properly, and I found no stones in the package. The size was appropriate for a good meal. When soaked overnight, the beans were rather plump from what they were in the bag. They did not seem old, and seem quite fresh. The beans were mostly white beans, with a little black spots, which is what you’re supposed to get with this type of bean. If memory serves, it’s called black-eyed peas, but it is actually a type of bean. I found it good and soups, stews, and cooked with chicken using a breezy method that had enough liquid to cook the beans after a night of soaking. Personally, I like soaking them overnight before cooking, but there are cooking methods were you don’t need to soak them overnight. Especially, if you use some sort of pressure cooker. I will definitely be buying these types of beans again.

Great taste

All in all, very good. A couple dozen peas were near black, easily noticed during first rinse, and got tossed. Maybe I'm being too picky but I was not going to mess with those. The rest cooked up fine, tasted great, and went perfectly with chunks of ham and onion, salt and pepper. Delicious and good value for money! Will buy again.

What can I say These are dried Blackeye Peas, They were clean, I washed and they cooked up as they should. I would recommend. They arrived quickly They were of a uniform size I have no complaints about them
