Does this actually kill fleas or just soothe the skin?

It just soothes the skin. I made the mistake of thinking that it deterred fleas and ticks when used . Smells good though.

Does this shampoo have bleaching agents in? I don't know how it turns fur whitener without some sort of bleaching chemical.

I can't see why not. It's pretty gentle and says it can be used every day (Not that it's necessary) I used it on my 14 year old dog with no problems. Doesn't need diluting but with a 12 week old pup i might a little it.
