Arrived in time for halloween. My boy was told to look away from people as the wounds on his face were making them queezy lol. Job done. I will be building on this kit for the future

Box was slightly damaged

bought for my daughter for her 15th Birthday. Arrived quickly and package was big enough as a starter pack. Unfortunately the first time she mixed up the ingredients it would not set. Really disappointing for a 15 year old who is very capable at watching the DVD and following instructions. We will try again, but we are conscious that we do not want to waste the limited amount of ingredients.

Package came right on time, problem with the information in the add it says comes with dvd. Also shows two other items on box that I do not have in my box.

Excellent! Easy to sculpt. Just wanted a little bit of texture, and this was great to work. The pigments are very strong and a tiny tiny bit goes a Long way

I’m a SFX professional Makeup artist and was casted to to do a temporary wound. It had to be water proof and saw this kit. When I just got it I just had a hard time with it and kept mixing the three parts but it kept melting. I highly recommend this product but need to the known the exact portions of not it will be a huge mess. I love the box and quality of the product. I removed the thinner it just made a mess and when you add color it’s litertly a small q-tip that is all you really need. Will purchase this product again.

It's very easy to mix, and the included thickener (Thi-Vex) helps you get it to a buildable consistency with just a drop or two. If you're looking to learn how to use silicone for special FX purposes, or you need a quick way to build wounds and other grisly effects, this is a must-have.

This kit is the real deal! I initially purchased this kit for a Halloween costume where I was going for the 'slit throat' look, but later decided to use it for the "Chelsey Grin" or split mouth look since I scored a creepy clown costume for $5 the day-of the party. What I like: // This kit is the real deal - it's what professionals likely use // They have a ton of online video tutorials via YouTube to help guide you (SUPER helpful) - just look-up "SMOOTH-ON" on YouTube // Highly realistic and flexible! It contours and moves w/ your face and isn't stiff or doesn't pull your skin // Easy to remove once done // If careful, you can 'peel' it off and potentially re-use it again // There's a LOT more mix left that I can use in subsequent years or if I wanted to add more 'wounds' What could be better & general comments / tips: // I'm pretty coordinated and artistic and this was not easy to apply (give yourself no less than an hour) // It's a bit messy - combining the colors and finding the right 'tools' around my house to apply this stuff made it messy and a bit more challenging (I was using q-tips and the end of silverware to help apply the solution). // This stuff dries quickly - so make sure you're ready when you mix it to quickly apply // I self-applied this and on my face (in a mirror) which made it a challenge. If you were applying this on your arm, I'd say it'd be way easier to apply and less messy. Even have someone else apply it, could save you time. // Tip: lay out everything and give yourself enough space.
