After reading the many reviews concerning the sizing of these scandals, I was a little dubious about ordering a pair for my husband. However after lengthy research, I decided to 'bite the bullet' and placed an order. They arrived within the scheduled delivery time and fit perfectly! My husband is usually a size 9 but I ordered a size EU40 normal width. He was pleasantly surprised and is looking forward to wearing them on holiday and in the summer time. I would definitely use this website again...Great service, great fit, great price, great buy!

My Birkenstock sandals are a staple item in my wardrobe. I bought my only previous pair in Germany in 1998 which means they have lasted me almost 20 years, helped along with a little glue here and there along the way. I could easily have carried on glueing them but they finally split to a point where they might have been dangerous while on holiday this year so I decided to replace them on Amazon. They arrived promptly and this pair will probably see me out.

I don't know how these could be sold for just £20. I usually buy direct from Birkenstock, and the first pair of 'bargain' Birkenstocks I bought from Amazon seemed to bear out the idea that the manufacturers were supplying better quality - they were really thin, floppy leather which stretched so much that I had to have new holes put into the straps; however these are of premier quality.

A bit discomfortable for the first couple of days but after that they’re great! Wear them all the time!

A word of caution: if you want a woman's fit, make sure you order the correct European equivalent size! Don't just order a "7" or you might get a 41 - make sure you order a European 40 (as per Birkenstock's own size guide). I placed my first order in a rush, made that mistake and had to exchange them.I love these: light, well made, exceedingly comfortable. I do think that a lot of issues & niggles some people report is because they haven't read Birkenstock's own advice on sizing and fit.

I love these - not bought Birkenstock before, but after a brief period of getting used to them, I’m very impressed. They’re very comfortable, give my feet and ankles a good workout but with arch support and they seem to improve my posture when walking.

They take a couple of days to wear in, a little uncomfortable to start with but after that they're perfect and so very comfy. Would definatly purchase again.

After carefully weighing up the odds, checking the size chart and trying the shoe on in store, I ordered this clog, and its too small. I am a 7 (40/41) depending on the shoe style and yet this thing is small. Would have been better off with an 8. If I had followed all the other comment about order a size smaller - who are these little people with tiny feet anyway! It would have been 10 times worse. Given that this is the regular not narrow fit makes it all the more mind boggling. So there we are people, beware the sizing issue.

Always loved my Birks since I am Native German.. Just needed a new pair and like always, they are the Best made Sandals that Germany 🇩🇪 makes..I owned several and different styles while living in Germany, but my favorite of all are the Closed Toe ones and the 3 strap ones I just got..Worth the Money because they last you for so long!!!

Ma taille est entre 40 et 41. J'ai pris 40 et je suis très à l'aise. Donc on peut prendre la taille en dessous.La sandale s'ajuste bien. Le profil intérieur épouse si bien la forme du pied que la sandale tient toute seule. On peut l'utiliser comme une chaussure fermée. En plus la plante du pied est comme massée, ce qui permet une longue marche confortable.Le prix est un peu élevé. Il existe peut-être des modèles copiés moins chers. Mais je ne regrette pas mon choix.

Hatte die Birkenstock ja schon zehn Jahren an den Füßen und waren etwas abgetreten und jetzt die neuen wieder absolut gut. Man fühlt sich fußmäßig wie neu geboren und man muss sie auch nicht groß einlaufen, weil sie gleich irgendwie zu passen scheinen. Da hat man etwas für lange Jahre und der Preis zahlt sich wirklich aus. Bequemer kann man nicht durchs Leben laufen. Dabei bin ich ja ein Typ, der auch noch Bikerstiefel draußen trägt oder schwere Cowboystiefel. Zu Hause aber nur Birkenstock, weil sie die Hausschuhe nicht nur ersetzen, sondern noch durch das Fußbett auf jeden Fall toppen. Das ist Erholung für die Füße pur. Fünf Sterne auf jeden Fall.
