Hi, it does fit an 8mm glass, if you only have a 10 mm gap you should get a smaller one rather than cutting it. Keep in mind that you need it bigger than the gap to form a seal onto the bath.. Martin

Are there any tips on how to install these on the glass, I'm having realm difficulties?

Dip it in hot water to soften it and open the glass door and fit from the hinge side outwards towards the edge an inch at a time pressing it up firmly....You will probably have to cut the length tosuit your glass shower door.good luck
