Churchill's Confectionery Iris Tin with Chocolate Chip Shortbread 250 g

Lovely tin for decoration & to be reused after the scrumptious mini cookies were eaten. Great as a gift or as a treat for yourself.

Been looking to replace a previous identical tin, lost in a fire. Delighted to see the quality of the tin is still superb.

I bought this as a present for my nan as it's the perfect size for one person. The tin is really beautiful, it has a stained glass kind of effect and the outline of the flowers is raised/textured. My nan loved this and told me the biscuits are nice, I just think it's a little bit overpriced. I would also like to add that this wasn't sent in any kind of protective packaging and it did arrive with a dent, which is unacceptable - be aware that this could be an issue for you too as I've seen another review mention the same problem.

I was dubious as this seemed overpriced, however I must admit that although pricey, the quality of the shortbread is superb! I could definitely taste the difference between this and a standard supermarket choc chip version. Also, there are two individually sealed packs inside for freshness/portion control...who am I kidding? I am ashamed to admit that both were eaten in one sitting! I only actually ordered this for the biscuits, not the tin but actually the tin *is* indeed very attractive as the other reviews suggested. Looks much nicer in real life. This would make a lovely gift for anyone, I would recommend it (provided you don't mind the cost). :-)

Very pretty tin, great for a present

Lovely tin biscuits are good too - they were soon gone! so will restock tin with something else.

To be honest I buy from Churchills mainly for the tins, all of which I've been very pleased with. This tin doesn't disappoint either, I bought it as a Christmas gift for someone who shares the name of the flowers and I think it's lovely. I can't comment on the contents but other biscuits and sweets I've had from Churchill's have always been very nice.

I think £7.99 is a bit overpriced for 250g of fairly bland biccies, but I have to agree it's a nice tin. I paid £5.99 for it on this very site last December.
