How many chips come with the game?

We don't use the chips as we have dogs and they are very small. Scared that they would fall on the floor and the dogs would eat them. Also, I got this for a 95 year old woman that has dementia and I wanted an activity that would not cause her to have to concentrate too much. She would not be able to use the chips and keep them on the bingo card so we just use blotters that we got from the dollar store.
