Solid, Stable, and Versatile for Multiple Setups
I primarily use this tripod with my Dwarf 2 digital telescope, but I have also used it a few times with my Sony A7RV, and it has performed well in both cases. It is a large and somewhat bulky tripod, but that extra size and weight translate directly into excellent stability, which is exactly what I need for astronomy and long-duration use. One feature I really appreciate is the built-in bubble level. Having the tripod properly leveled is important for my telescope, especially when it is automatically tracking objects in the sky, and the level makes setup much easier and more accurate. The tripod feels solid and well-built, with locking mechanisms that hold firmly once everything is set. While it is not the lightest option, the added weight helps keep everything steady, even when fully extended. In terms of versatility and compatibility, it works well with both my telescope and a full-frame mirrorless camera, which makes it a flexible option if you use different types of gear. For the price, it offers very good value, especially considering the stability and features you get. Overall, this is a dependable, heavy-duty tripod that is well-suited for users who prioritize stability over portability.

EXCELLENT QUALITY
EXCELLENT QUALITY...INCREDIBLY STURDY & RUGGED...HEAVY DUTY CONSTRUCTION. The fluid head and quick release (QR) plate is very user friendly and the extendable legs are easy to extend and lock into position...it has so many features I didn't expect. It easily supports the heavy SONY 200-600mm telephoto lens I recently bought. I highly recommend purchasing this item that's has a great price point.

Great Tripod!
I purchased this tripod for my studio, mainly for product photography. Before that, I was using a travel tripod which served the purpose, but I was ready for something more appropriate. Offered at 30% off and $100, this was a steal. So much so, I opted for the tripod dolly to provide additional mobility. I immediately put it into service and could tell from the start that this purchase was going to reap long-term dividends. The unit is extremely well made. Sturdy, but not too heavy. Again, perfect for studio work for both photography and videography. Operation is smooth, the legs can adjusted quickly and securely. The gimbal is super smooth and precise. While I got it primarily for photography, I can tell that it will come into its own as I increase my development of videos in 2024. At just a tad over $100, I would encourage anyone needing a sturdy tripod beyond the your typical travel units to get it while it’s hot!

Will auto-level if tilt is loose
I already love this tripod because of how amazingly smooth it is, this is almost exactly what I wanted. It has a very sturdy build and is great for anyone who is looking to film video with a stable and smooth tripod. I wasn't very interested in the QR plate function but it does seem to be pretty nice and easy to use, although it does loosen up a little too easily in my opinion. It's great that there's a tiny knob on the front to stop the plate from falling forwards just in case. I also thought it was cool that there's an allen wrench hidden under the plate mount, I hadn't really read the manual or anything so that was a nice surprise. It's a little tedious getting the legs to fully extend but the trick is to pull both sides out and have a finger ready over the flap so that you can close it once it's there. The biggest issue with it for me personally is that the head seems to have this like auto-leveling thing whenever you have the tilt loose on the camera and you let it go. My thoughts are that maybe it's meant to hold your camera in place so that it doesn't fall forward and cause damage to your camera, but my camera is pretty light and I won't be using too much stuff on it so it's constantly just pushing it up unless I tighten the tilt all the way. The pan stays smooth however, whether you lock that up or not, but I wanted to be able to easily move up and down as well. I guess it's not too big of a deal in the end since it is helping me keep my equipment safe, buf I wish it would at least be a little weaker instead of springing right back up. For the value, all things considered, I would give this a 4.6. I'm mostly taking points off because of the legs

Sturdy, Stable and High-Quality.
I am very happy with my purchase of the NEEWER 74" Pro Video Tripod with Fluid Head. This tripod is a great choice for anyone who wants to capture professional-quality videos. The tripod is solid and sturdy, and it does not wobble or shake when I mount my camera on it. The legs are smooth and quiet, and they can be adjusted easily with one hand using the locks. The fluid head is amazing, it allows me to pan and tilt my camera smoothly and precisely, without any jerks or vibrations. The tripod also has a very impressive height range to 74", which gives me a lot of flexibility and creativity in choosing my angles and perspectives. High-quality knobs and QR Plate. This tripod is definitely worth every penny, and I highly recommend it to anyone who needs a reliable and versatile video tripod.

Great Tripod
The size of this tripod is impressive, and its height is fantastic. I appreciate its sturdiness and stability, which are comparable to some well-known brands. It performed exceptionally well when volunteers from our church jumped on the stage where it’s set up, barely shifting at all. The adjustments are user-friendly, allowing for easy setup with both phones and professional cameras or videography equipment. One suggestion for improvement would be to place the level bubble at the bottom of the adjuster. This small change would make it easier to adjust the tripod to higher positions without the need for a step stool. Overall, it’s a solid piece of equipment!

I Like This Tripod!
Checks all the boxes with Manfrotto quick release plate compatibility. Not the lightest tripod, but not too bad, especially at this affordable price. I'd recommend it!

Ultra High Strong Tripod
Neewer are knocking it out of the park with these Brilliant tripods and mono pods. Again the primary attributes of a tripod are met "Strong", "Stable" support. This TP74 weights 9 lbs and that's the first clue that it can do the job. Too light is no good! I'm not a fan of Bowl Heads but this one adjusts easily and locks down firm so good job! The height is hilarious - I'm 6 ft and towers over my head if fully extended - Brilliant again! Some of the price differences are because if the pan heads - different ones on different models. I bought this TP74 to match the head on my Neewer Monopod on I bought last week. They are not paying me to say this - I'm just so impressed with how well built these are! Nice carry bag too. Great job Neewer!
