I love it. It works perfectly, shielding my fob from interacting with the car, and I think it is better than the faraday pouches and good-looking too. The inner part of the box is soft-padded to ensure that your car fob doesn't get scratched. The size is good enough for my Honda jazz fob. One thing to note is that you may not be able to use a key holder with you car fob. It is good value for money. I'm impressed.

Firstly, yes it is a bit pricey, secondly, so is the thing that it's protecting. This does it job well and providing you've measured your fob and checked that against the size measurements provided, then you're off. It smart looking, smooth to the touch and not too weighty. It fits my Jaguar XE fob nicely and even manages to have a bit of space for the identity tag I use. Signal is completely blocked and car will not start, but then that's what I'd expect from a thick(ish) metal box. I had already tried three of the cheaper pouches, which worked fine for about two months then failed completely, so for peace of mind and not wanting the hit and miss nature of having to check on a regular basis if the cheaper pouch was working, I went for one of these. My spare is kept in one of the cheaper pouches, but as it being used very infrequently it will last for considerably longer than the two months with daily use. Highly recommended, but measure your fob and check supplied key holder dimensions before purchase. All in all a good bit of kit.

I have now had this for almost 3 years. My old car keys just fitted into this metal box and it worked perfectly. My new car has an even bigger key and sadly the lid no longer is able to completely close. Having said that, even not completely closed the metal box seems to work without problem. Not an ideal situation as you would not want to place your key anywhere with movement as the potential for a top to come off is real and therefore the signal will leak out again and be vulnerable to theft. That said, if you have a smaller car key, this is a brilliant travel solution as it does work.

Keeps my car key safe from being copied , must have over those Faraday pouches that eventually stop working after a few weeks. Pay the xtra its worth it when you have an expensive vehicle.

We are so happy with this product. We actually purchased something from Amazon which works perfectly! We used it for our Mercedes key. It fits snugly...It looks great...AND IT WORKS! We sat in our car with the key in the Vonetti box, and the signal from the key was completely blocked. Vonetti Faraday Box gives such peace of mind we're doing everything we can to secure our car. Great Product!!

Excellent product. After trying a number of other signal blocking pouches, which all failed after a short time, this is the most effective and great value for money.

This is a brilliant way of protecting against relay theft. This small, metal box is well made and completely blocks the signals emitted by the keys of keyless entry cars. It is these signals that thieves are able to grab and boost, with devices readily available online, in order to mimic your key and commit relay thefts. The box is big enough to fit in your car key but there is very little space left over and most keyrings would not fit. This does make it more portable though and therefore is an advantage. It is durable and will outlast any Faraday wallets. These contain metal foils which can develop tears/holes with repeated use, rendering them useless at the job of blocking your key's signals. It is expensive but the higher price is mitigated by not needing to replace Faraday pouches every few months/years. Unlike a Faraday pouch, you can rest assured that this relatively thick metal box will reliably block your key's signal.

Dragged ourselves into the modern age and got a car with keyless entry. This then opened up a whole range of worries about how easy it would be to gain entry etc. We could have disabled the keyless entry but that would still leave the engine start open to the same vulnerabilities. Anyway you will know all this which is why you are looking. This was a lot more expensive than the fabric pouches but it is very well made soft lining and a super snug closure. Works perfect and even touching the car with the key inside fails to unlock it. I believe this will last for years as opposed to months as the fabric faraday pouches seem too. So for the over thinkers and worriers out there that would rather have had a good old key your not alone by any stretch, get this sleep easy and dream of that rust bucket you had in 1980. Best car I ever had.
