Simple Montessori Toy That Kept My Baby Engaged
This object permanence box is a simple toy, but it does a great job encouraging curiosity and problem-solving. My daughter enjoyed dropping the balls into the opening and watching them reappear in the tray, and it quickly became an activity she wanted to repeat over and over. The wooden construction feels sturdy and well made, with smooth edges and a nice finish. I also appreciate the neutral Montessori-style design, which looks nice in a playroom without being overly bright or distracting. The toy helps develop hand-eye coordination, fine motor skills, and an understanding of cause and effect in a fun and age-appropriate way. It's one of those toys that seems simple to adults but is surprisingly engaging for babies. Overall, this is a well-made developmental toy that provides meaningful play while supporting early learning. It's a great addition to a Montessori-inspired toy collection and would make a thoughtful gift for a baby.

Perfect Montessori Style Toy!
I was a little hesitant when I first bought this because my daughter was only about seven months old. I wasn't sure if she’d really "get" it yet, but I wanted to start focusing more on open-ended toys that teach cause and effect, so I figured we’d give it a shot. Why it’s a winner: Quick Learning Curve: I shouldn't have worried! She figured it out in less than a day and was absolutely hooked. It was like a lightbulb went off, she started repeatedly dropping the balls in and watching them roll out like a little genius. Lasting Appeal: Even now that she’s a year old, she still pulls this out to play with. It’s one of those rare toys that actually holds her attention for a solid chunk of time. Simple & Effective: It’s a great, sturdy wooden toy. There are no flashing lights or loud noises, just pure focus and motor skill development. Summary: If you’re looking for a purposeful, Montessori-style toy, this is a great pick. It’s been amazing watching her develop her coordination with it over the last few months. Highly recommend for the tiny explorers!

Keeps my baby entertained! She loves it
I got this object permanence box for my 7-month-old and it’s been a great introduction to cause-and-effect play. She’s really interested in watching the ball drop through the hole and reappear in the tray, and it definitely keeps her attention longer than some of her other toys. The quality feels nice overall with smooth wood and soft colors, and I like that it’s simple and not overstimulating. That said, the balls are a little easy for her to roll away and lose, and at this age she’s more interested in grabbing and mouthing them than using the toy as intended, which is expected. It’s been great for short, focused play sessions and I can see it becoming even more useful as she gets a bit older and starts to understand the concept more. Overall, I’d recommend it if you’re looking for a simple, well-made Montessori-style toy that grows with your baby.

Fantastic Montessori toy!
I love how simple this toy is yet there is a couple of ways to play with it. This is truly a Montessori toy. It was pretty easy to wipe down and very durable as my son likes to throw things and this took a couple of good hits. The colors are very cute and muted without being boring. Overall, I would purchase again if needed!

High quality
This is a great toy for kids. My 7 month old is a little young for it still, and it's very loud when balls hit the wood. But the colors are good and quality is high.

My 1 year old loves it
I got this as a present for my son’s 1st bday and he loved it! He claps every time he puts the ball in. It’s so cute! So worth it and way better than giving him a lighted up, overstimulating toy.

Wooden with style
So precious. Love the soft colors and rounded edges. Can’t wait to try out with my infant class. It’s smaller than I pictured but priced right for a teacher on a budget

Great toy but fell apart
It’s an awesome toy and my 8 month old loved it (doesn’t use it much now at 17m old). Only complaint is that it came apart and we had to re-glue it. And this was being gentle with the toy too. Just from picking it up and putting it on the shelf repeatedly , it eventually came apart.
