In an immediate emergency is there away to unlock the whole container?

I did the top left arrow 10x, the lock icon switched to "unlock", but I was still unable to open it. And I even reset the timer to 0. Still did not open. And now that I reset the timer, I do not know how long I have left before it unlocks on its own. I guess this feature is good to have for a child so they don't crack the code. But not okay for adults. Defective. Please fix.
