I am new to pump action shotguns and wanted to get a lot of practice time loading, unloading and "shooting" snap caps before using live ammo. These snap caps are very well made and even have a replaceable rubber plug where the firing pin strikes. They cycle well through the 590. Great choice for safety and practicing.

They fit like a right sized glove and work well. They are good to practice with. The color can never be mistaken for live ammunition, thereby keeping you safe. And while I don't need 10pcs, it was a good value purchase.

I had a more known brand before these, which cost more for two, and they got chewed up quickly and the coating came flaking off every time they were used. I really love these snap caps they are solid which gives them a weight close to a live round for a better feel when training. They are also a great value since I got 10 for the cost of the "better" known brand. I was so impressed with them I quickly ordered another set is a different caliber.

These are really nice-looking snap caps. They are shiny silver and has a hole to indicate a dead round, but you can even thread a string or chain through the hole and hang the round for decorative purposes. But the main reason I got these is for dry firing and the rubber primer pocket does a great job absorbing the firing pin impact and protecting the gun parts. It even comes with extra rubber primer pocket pads in case you wear out the old ones. The snap caps even approximate the weight of live rounds so you can cycle the slide and confirm feeding and ejection. On top of all that, it comes in an attractive metal case that is compact and, again, attractive. I'm so impressed that I bought 9mm and 45 ACP so I can dry fire all of my defensive handguns.

Excellent product with excellent weight. I ordered this item and was a round short. When I reached out to customer service I was assisted swiftly and more than fairly by Lee. I will certainly be buying similar rounds in the future from this team.

Works really well and no issues feeding into gun

I first became aware of this brand with their 7.62x39 snap caps. I was impressed with the quality and resilience of the product. As soon as i saw the 30-06 offering I jumped. These snap caps hold up better than other snap caps on the market. The rubber or silicone coating helps protect the feed ramp from damage when loading. Outstanding design. Spare rubber primers included. Please keep this up. Excellent product. I recommend they start producing other calibers like 303 british, 8mm mauser, 6.5 carcano, 6.5 swede, 6.5 Japanese and 7.62x54r. If they keep the same quality they will be beating the other name brand snap caps in no time.

Size is true, good tool to use weight is pretty similar.

Consistent weight and size, cycled well in my 357 rifle, no problem with ejecting like some other snap caps. Came in a small metal box. Will buy again.

I've never dry-fired my Tikka T3X but figured that after getting these snap-caps, I'd give it a try. It's kind of nice to be able to make sure everything sounds right after oiling without having to wait for the next day at the range. So far I've put about 200 activations through these Angeebin training snap caps and haven't had any issues so far. I like the fact that they come with replacement pads (made from rubber, it seems) for when they eventually wear out. The weight is pretty close to a real .270 WinMag shell so that's pretty neat that they got the weight correct, unlike others that are very very heavy or incredibly light. Five stars all the way!!

Much nicer and cheaper than the ones you get at Cabela's.
