This is my second time ordering the New Chapter Magnesium + Ashwagandha supplement, and I’m happy with it. I’m forever grateful for this stuff! I suffer from anxiety and can’t shut my brain off at night. It’s been this way since I was very young. A few months ago, I broke down crying to my husband that my sleep was so awful and I felt like a zombie daily. And I’m caring for my child all day - not a good combo running on broken sleep. I used to use melatonin, but I had very broken sleep with it. I’m talking waking up 3-4 times a night. Needing to pee. Laying there thinking about so many things. Trying to get comfortable. It was awful, I actually read that sometimes you can take too much melatonin and it’ll interrupt your sleep cycles. Sure enough, I was waking every 60-90 mins, which is a sleep cycle. So I couldn’t shift from one to the next properly. I felt defeated and then my sister recommended this. It took about a week or two to see the real benefits. (Stick with it!) I will not stop taking this now. It’s the only thing that has helped me. I will say, the second you feel like you need to go to sleep after taking this, give in, relax, and go to sleep, or else it doesn’t quite work (in my experience!) If you are consuming this for better sleep, this definitely works but it takes a few days. Take this regularly and you'll notice better sleep and falling asleep quite quickly once you hit the bed. I would recommend this for sure to anyone suffering with sleep problems.
