Any one know the spring weight

This item has a maximum safe load of 4.47lbs.

The choices of 3/8 x 3/8 has a description that says 3/8 x 3/4 -- which length is it?

That can be a tricky answer. A lot of times I have noticed this advertising problem at various other websites. The picture you show of the spring is 3/8"×3/4", not 3/8"×3/8" as advertised. When I encounter this I go by what is advertised, not the picture. So far, this method has worked for me. Worst case, you can always return the product if it is incorrect. Hopefully I have given you some useful information.

What is the spring constant? I.e. Force of the spring, pounds/inch? Thanks!

Depends on how much one compresses it. I use mine to put pressure on my tear-drop dampers on my UDS smoker. If I want more clamping force between the tear-drop and the base plate, I tighten the screw that has washers on either side of the spring and nut on bottom of base plate. Works like a charm and looks professional. PS: If wanting even more force, can intertwine two springs together to double force. Good Luck!
