NOT FOR BEGINNERS
There are absolutely no resources given with this book so there is no way of knowing how the study's or exercises should actually sound. All written in standard notation with no explanation of how to read or interpret the notation. There are reading exercises but again, there is nothing to show how the exercises should sounds when played. It may well be a great learning resource for a more advanced player with knowledge of reading standard notation or even a beginner to learn with a teacher but I would not recommend this for a beginner who is self learning.
