Want a labeller with two colour printing (red and/or black) get this!
This was to replace a Dymo which I had had for years, but suddenly died for no reason. This Brother is a much better device. Firstly it can do two colours (black and red) still using thermal technology (so no inks). That was an immediate advantage. The next was its size. It is barely larger than the old Dymo, so it sits nicely in my workspace. It can print directly from the iPhone, iPad and Mac without any difficulty, using WiFi or Bluetooth or both. If you use the continuous length label reel, you can create any size label with great ease. The quality of the label is brilliant and the cost for new reels is very competitive. No hesitation to recommend.

Does what it says
Works well - the continuous roll function isn't suited very well to APIs though and really needs to be done via Brother P Touch which isn't too great for integrations.

WORST PRINTER EVER
Installation was a total pain in the backside. Ones installed it constantly gives an error on the size of printing roll even when you make sure the printer preferences specify the exact roll size, this think still won't print from it's label software. I need it as a business label printer and it is not suitable for professional use at all. Terrible terrible product. Do not buy.

Glitchy Wi-Fi software from the last century ..but
I’ve sent the QL-1110NWBc back after problems with Bluetooth & Wi-Fi connectivity which seems to be a fairly common problem. But after spending days deigning labels on the iprint brother app I’ve decided to cut my losses and ordered a ql1100 usb only model. It’s got the capacity to print 6x4 inch proper shipping labels and costs about the same! I like the range and quality of labels and the print quality is very good but the QL820nwbc is a bit of a pain. I’m hoping the less convenient usb only printer does the job, fingers crossed.

An excellent printer
It's slightly fiddly to set up, in particular the wifi, but this printer is fast, reliable and well built. I'm using it with MacOS 14.0 (Sonoma) with no issues so far. The P-touch software is >OK< but stable and fairly powerful. Based on years of use, Brother have become my first choice for printers and the QL820 has solidified that opinion.
