The smell goes away once absorbed into the skin. The serum is light and slightly sticky. The stickiness goes away as well but may leave a little residue as it dries. I'm 63 and after using CE Ferulic for about 6 months now, my skin tone looks younger, even and brighter. It feels more feels plumped. I swear it "SPANX" for the face. I'll never stop using it. I used to use the high dollar skin-sue-ticals (spelled wrong on purpose) but the price is insane. This is my go to now. I ordered three different brands last week and this one was the winner... it's closer to the $182 bottle. BUY IT!

I genuinely like this product. I have ordered several times. However my last order is obviously from a bad batch. Upon receiving it I used it, then noticed the dark brownish color and burnt odor. After research I discovered that it is now oxidized vitamin c serum and should not be used. I have sent feedback to the seller hoping they do better with quality control because I really do like the product. I will be sending this one back in hopes of getting a fresh one that is not defective. Update: I ordered another bottle a couple days later, received it 😑 and it's another smelly, dark brown, oxidized serum. I'll have to start looking for a new serum.

The product is quite yellow and I wouldn’t say it’s moisturising, but rather has a dry feel to it, if that makes sense. So I feel like you need to use more? Not sure about it but I’ll use the bottle and see how I feel .
