This 5-piece set works well for painting, color mixing, and even cake decorating. The stainless steel blades are durable and flexible, making them easy to control for detailed or broad strokes.

I bought these for making watercolor paints. They work perfectly for that. They seem sturdily made, and I like that they don't have a weld between the blade and the narrow neck of the handle, because that seems to be a particularly weak point for palette knives. The several shapes and sizes have been useful for different aspects of initially stirring the pigment, scraping the paint where I want it and depositing it into pans. They are also flexible in the right places to be able to move them how I want. I am very pleased with this purchase, especially given the price, and will definitely buy these again if I ever needed to have more on hand or when the eventually, presumably a long time from now, wear out.
