Supreme Sink Shelf - Chrome

Bought this over the sink shelf as a monitor stand for my desk at work and it is AWESOME for this purpose and a decent price for the application. Was easy to assemble, is sturdy, true to the measurements given, and I love the materials being metal and thick wood. Sturdier than other monitor stands I’ve had and easily holds two regular size flat screen monitors. I am using it at full height although you could make it shorter. I am tired of looking down at monitors. This also leaves lots of open room beneath for a box for cable management, or pads of paper, your phone to stand up against the rail and be visible, a small desk fan, small desk toys, and still be able to push your keyboard slightly under the shelf. Other monitor stands have been too small, too short, or had supports or drawers in the way that prevent you from having decent storage space beneath. Will be getting one for my home office too.

OMG, I am so in love with this shelf. If have a standard double stainless steel sink with a standard faucet (not one of the tall looping ones). There is a fluorescent light above the sink, and that light was being so wasted because I couldn't put plants under it. But NOW I have four quart-sized widemouth mason jars planted with herbs (google it) arrayed in the center of this shelf. There is room for one half-gallon mason jar on either side of the herbs, so I've got my kombucha to the left, my sugary kefir grains batch on the right, plus two pint-size jars with either milk kefir or seeds sprouting at either end. With the jars pushed back to the back edge of the shelf, there is also room in the front of the jars for half-pint jars all along the front. I've got my baking soda and coarsely ground egg shells (for Dom's sugary kefir grains recipe), plus there is plenty of room to put other things in those jars as well. I cannot believe I've got all of that in such a tidy, neat little space. And it looks so pretty! The shelf is plenty strong for holding all this stuff. It's like one of those big chrome shelfs you get at Lowe's or Home Depot, and it goes together the same way. Just be sure, when you put it together, that you have the plastic holder thingies with the top part on the top, not upside down. Also, you can put the holders for the top shelf up as high as they will go, and it makes for a very clean and stylish appearance. As with anything like this, count all your pieces before you begin assembly. They sent me two extra plastic shelf-holder pieces, so I'm saving them in case I need them at some future point, but these things are strong when the shelf is assembled. I wish now I had gotten another one of these to extend along to the right of this one, under my cabinets; eight more quart-sized jars will fit on top with eight more underneath! So that's my next purchase.

I purchased these for my plants. I have a planter with some sweet basil and thai basil and wanted a place where they could get some sun. They were also hogging some counter space. I thought I'd go with this since it was silver and bamboo, which are themes already present in my kitchen. The package came well; it was longer than I expected, but the shelves itself were intact as far as length (they're pretty sturdy which I appreciate now. My double sink is also longer than I estimated, so it was the perfect size. There are 6 pieces of metal: the 4 bars, the top shelf, and the bottom thing, which I placed on the sink with the back flush to the wall. I have a double sink with a spout where you have to lift a handle to get water; not the ones with knobs on either side. At first, I put it together, placed it behind my sink and when I lifted the handle, it hit the shelf! I saw that I was able to adjust it and made it at a length so it was level with the window sill that is behind the sink. I'm sure it will clear most sink handles. Mine is a little cozy, though. The bamboo plank that goes in the top shelf is not attached to the top shelf itself, and I actually liked it better without it so I'm using it without the bamboo insert. It made my kitchen look pretty (with the basil in front of the window) and not overly crowded, since the shelf has silver bars running across the entire length of it and has the see-through look. My orchid has joined the party and there is plenty of room. We'll see how long it lasts and how it holds up, but as far as appearances, ease of assembly, and practicality goes, 5 stars. Definitely recommended.

The shelf is the perfect length, width, and height for my needs. I was careful to put the spacers at the ends of each pole so when I slid the shelf over each, I would have the maximum height. It leaves plenty of space underneath to put my holders I purchased for scrubbers and such. It also gave me somewhere to finally display my “Tea for One” sets. I use them quite often in the winter and fall, now they will be easier to get to. As many have stated, the board does not lay flat. It is indeed warped. Since this seems to be a common occurrence, and I would assume a large part of the purchase price, I would recommend offering the stand without the board at a lower price. I also think that not finishing the design from end to end, weakens the design and aesthetics of the stand. It cuts off about 1/2” prior to where it should meet the end pieces on both front and back. It just makes it look like a cheap knock off of the original design. I could understand if I had paid perhaps $25.00 for this item, but I paid more than double that! With the wobbly board, and unfinished design, I don’t feel this is a good value for my money and sadly, I can’t recommend it for those reasons. If those things don’t bother you and you just need a good, sturdy shelf and you don’t mind paying for it, then yes, this will do a good job and hold a good amount of weight.

I ordered the Whitmore supreme sink shelf to extend storage space in my 50s kitchen and it works well for that purpose. As in all classic 50s style kitchens there is a window over the sink. My window ledge is 3 inches wide which means that it has very limited value. The Whitmore sink shelf is 6 3/4 inches wide so once they are put together there is a 9 3/4 inch wide storage area which is VERY useful. I use the area beneath for sponges, brushes, ect. I can put a LOT on this shelf. It works well for plants, storage jars, candles, cook books, cleaning products, ect. The shelf itself matches my kitchen well as I have a lot of stainless steel in my kitchen (including other wire shelf products) as well as blond hardwood. The shelf is made the same as all wire rack products and was a fairly quick easy assembly. It did take a few tries to get the shelf to sit just right as the shelf kept slipping down (this is a common problem with wire shelving) and I wanted it to sit level with the window ledge. It has screw in feet for leveling. You can also adjust the height of the shelf somewhat depending on where you install the shelf on the legs. The faucet just fits beneath but a taller faucet wouldn't fit so if you are considering this for your kitchen it would be a good idea to measure before purchasing. The shelf also has a hardwood top which I like but could be removed for a drainable shelf for plants if desired. Magnets stick to the shelf so I can also clip notes or recipes to it. I also find the shelf VERY useful for holding my kindle (which has a built in stand) and watching movies or cooking shows while working in the kitchen. The level is perfect! The length is good over the sink. I wish they had other widths. A longer one would be nice at the back of the counter top or cabinets and a shorter one would make a nice spice rack next to the stove. Overall, quite useful and a nice, functional addition. I like it. Update 4/2018 This remains very functional in my kitchen and at this point I have become quite dependant upon it for storage as it frees up the counter. One of the most functional items I'v added to the kitchen.

My RV cabinet shelves don’t adjust so I was not able to utilize all my space. This shelf made it so that I could. Wish it was about an inch deeper though because I wasn’t going to use the wood shelf because I wanted a lip to keep anything from sliding off but then it was about an inch too short but with the board my items can hang over a little and fit on the shelf. I’ll probably pack my dishes in my quilted cases when we go to travel anyway. For now they are safe and I can reach the back items a lot easier. Nice sturdy shelf. I am thinking of getting another one to put my bedroom TV on so that it will be a little higher up for easier viewing while lying down in bed. It would also allow me utilize the space underneath the shelf for some items without them being in the way of viewing the TV screen. If you are having problems with the black pieces, make sure they are placed together in the correct direction. The narrower side has to be up in order for the shelf to slide over them and lock in place.

I bought this for my mom and she loved it. It sits over the Kitchen sink/right under the window. She uses it to put succulent's on. It is very sturdy and helped organize her plants. The wood part on the inside wiggles just a little but otheer then that it Fits good. For the Value of money though..it's a tad pricey but it's very useful and a good product!

I love this sink shelf! It took a bit of time to come in, but it was well worth the wait! It's very well made and was very easy to assemble. It's absolutely beautiful! I use it to put some of my decorative votive/tealight candleholders on.

It is a good solid shelf and was easy enough to put together as I have had stuff like this before. However the instructions are quite poor and need a bit more information. Even so, I would have given 5 stars but the wooden insert has some chunks of wood splintered in one corner. The shelf was obviously a snug fit, so whoever popped the shelf in, forced it, and 2 small chunks of wood were splintered out. I have turned the shelf upside down so it is not noticeable but that was a little disappointing.

Love this product. Works great over my kitchen sink. Solid and great quality.

Not a genuine product- damaged grill and wooden board has become bend and doesn't fit accurately with top grill support.

Quite a nice, solid item for a reasonable price. I really like it. It fits nicely where I needed it, it looks great and it seems very durable (I don't have any hesitation putting some fairly heavy items on it). It's proving super helpful in a small apartment with limited counter space. Note: I would recommend carefully measuring your area to make sure it will fit (particularly clearance above faucet) as I could see that being an issue in other kitchens.

Great over the sink shelf. I bought this to display my tea collection. Works awesome! Better than expected. Assembled in about 20 mins. Sturdy enough for what I want it for. It was a bit pricey, but the dimensions were exactly what I was looking for so I paid the high price. I give this 5 stars for sure.
